Greenville, SC Couples Photographer
As a Greenville couples and engagement session photographer, one of my favorite locations for engagement sessions is the Furman Rose Garden! It was the perfect spot for Kelsey and Cody's mini couples session. These two love birds were recently engaged and just wanted a few photos to document this sweet season of their lives together, so a mini engagement session was perfect for them! They booked one of my spring blooms mini sessions in mid April at the Furman Rose Garden. The roses has just started to bloom, and the weather was perfect! I love how many sweet photos we were able to get of the two of them in just a short 15 minute mini session!
Enjoy a few of my favorite sweet couples photos from this mini engagement session at the Furman Rose Garden below!

Cozy Winter Engagement Photos in Greenville, SC
Wow! This engagement session last night with Ella and Ryan was so sweet and SO much fun! If you’ve been following my journey from the beginning, you’ll know that I spent the first seven years of my photography career as a wedding and engagement photographer. When I moved to Greenville, SC and had my daughter, I started specializing in family photography. While I absolutely LOVE getting to photograph families, it was so much fun to get back to my roots of photographing couples and love stories.
We started out Ryan and Ella’s engagement session at Ella’s mom’s house in the stunning new Hartness neighborhood in Greenville. The house was absolutely amazing, so beautiful, and so full of natural light. I loved all the unique design elements, such as the disco ball in the laundry room and the pink snake wall paper in the bathroom. It was such a dream to take these photos in such a beautiful home!
For golden hour and sunset, we used some of the beautiful green spaces in the Hartness neighborhood. I love the creek that runs through the woods, and the big open fields. This engagement session was such a dream, to photograph! Enjoy some of my favorite photos from the session below!

Asheville, North Carolina Wedding Photographer
Connor and Hallie’s engagement session was one of my favorite engagement sessions ever. I have so been looking forward to this one. Hallie is one of my little sister’s best friends, so I was absolutely THRILLED when Hallie and Connor asked me to photograph their wedding!
This engagement session was SO much fun. We actually started the session at my sister’s house. These two wanted a fun Christmassy “in-home” session with their two dogs. Both Hallie’s dog and Connor’s dog joined in for the photos, and they were adorable. I love when couples bring their dogs to their engagement session. And it’s even more fun when they include their dogs in the wedding day, too!
Hallie and Connor wore three outfits for their session, and we used two different locations. Their session location was a beautiful park. It was a great choice, because of all of the evergreen trees that keep the park green and beautiful even in the winter. I loved Hallie’s beautiful, long white dress. And then for their last outfit, Hallie changed into an adorable skirt with a cute hat. I love her style! And the sunset ended up being so beautiful. It was a perfect session all around.
Hallie and Connor, I LOVED having you both in front of my camera. You are such a sweet couple that radiate joy and love. I can’t wait to have you in front of my camera again on your wedding day!

South Carolina Wedding Photographers
I absolutely LOVED getting to photograph Rob and Anne! Rob is an old friend from college. We were in the same major and had a ton of classes together. It’s crazy to think that my career path changed so drastically from finance to photography, while Rob is still in the finance world. It was great getting to catch up with him and meet his fiancé, Anne. These two are SUCH a perfect match for each other, and getting to hear all about their love story was so much fun.
Rob proposed to Anne at Newfields back in September, so of course we had to go back to this beautiful museum and gardens for their engagement sessions. It was such a perfect way to celebrate their love, relationship, and engagement.
I love getting to know all of my couples and their stories so I can tailor the engagement session, wedding day, and all of the poses, to the specific couple and their unique story. Rob and Anne were so much fun to get to pose and work with. I love when my couples have just as much fun at their engagement session as I do photographing it! These two were so nervous, because it was both of their first professional photo shoot ever. But within a few minutes, they were loving it. It was clear that these two were really in their element in front of the camera.
Rob and Anne, I LOVED having the two of you in front of my camera, You are such a fun couple, and I’m so glad that you loved your engagement photos!

Greenville, SC engagement photographer
I LOVED getting to meet and photograph Hannah and Josh at their engagement session! These two are such a fun couple, and they are so great together! I always love getting to chat with my couples at the engagement session and get to know more about their relationship. It helps me tailor the session and poses to each individual couple. My goal is to truly show off each couple’s relationship the way it is, because each love story is so unique.
Hannah and Josh are getting married this July, and I’m so excited for their industrial, downtown wedding day. It’s been so fun to help them plan out the timeline of the day and find the best photo locations near their venues. I always love getting to help my couples plan a magical and smooth wedding day. I can’t wait to photograph Josh’s reaction when he first sees Hannah in her wedding dress on their wedding day. And getting to see these two with their bridal parties and family will be so much fun. Hannah and Josh’s wedding day will be so amazing, and I cannot wait to photograph all of the special little moments between these two as well as their friends and family.
Hannah and Josh, I LOVED getting to photograph you at your engagement session, and I am so happy that you love your photos! I can’t wait to get you both in front of my camera again on your wedding day!

November Engagement Photos at Eagle Creek
I had such a fun time with Aaron and Alicia during their November Engagement Photos at Eagle Creek! We ended up with an absolutely perfect fall day. It was in the sixties and the leaves were still beautiful even in November! Usually peak fall colors happen around mid October in Indiana, but we lucked out with a much later fall this year. I’m so thankful that I was able to squeeze in my last few weddings and engagement sessions of the fall season while we still have such beautiful colors.
I’ve photographed so many sessions at Eagle Creek at this point that I know all of the best spots for photos, how to avoid the crowds, and where to find the best fall colors within the park. I’m so thankful that Aaron and Alicia trusted my location recommendation. We were able to hit about 6 of my favorite spots within the park during the two hour session that we had together. I love that we were able to capture such a huge variety of photos for these two sweet love birds. Their final full engagement session gallery ended up with over 300 photos! My goal is always to capture as much variety as possible for my couples but to do it as efficiently as possible.
Aaron and Alicia, you two are so much fun to photograph, and you are such an amazing couple! I absolutely LOVED getting to photograph your engagement session, and I can’t wait to get you both in front of my camera again on your wedding day in just four months! Until then, happy wedding planning!

Holcomb Gardens Elopement
Christopher and Genesis were married on Friday in a sweet civil ceremony with just the two of them and their officiant. They contacted me, because they wanted to do a photoshoot the same day as their little elopement. They wanted some special and meaningful photos taken on the day that they committed their lives to each other, and I loved that idea. We decided on Holcomb Gardens for their session. It is so beautiful there this time of year. The forecast called for rain but luckily it was only barely misting during our morning session. It was perfect.
These two were so cute and sweet with each other throughout our session together. Whenever I would put them in a pose, Chris couldn’t stop kissing Gen. And the two of them couldn’t stop telling each other how much they loved each other. Couples like that are my absolute favorite. I love love love photographing madly in love couples, couples who are so excited to be getting married to each other. And that’s exactly how Chris and Gen were. They’ll be having their large ceremony and reception to celebrate with all of their friends and family in 2023, and I’m sure that day will be such as sweet, meaningful, and special as the day they were legally married. I’m so excited for these two!
Chris and Gen. congratulations again on your marriage! You two were such a dream to get to photograph! It was SUCH an honor to be your wedding photographer!
Here’s a few of my favorite photos from Chris and Gen’s session.

Cozy In Home Couples Session in Broad Ripple, Indiana
Cristina and Spencer’s cozy in home couples session in Broad Ripple, Indiana was so sweet and fun! I absolutely LOVE this couple and their families, and I loved getting to work with them again! I has the privilege of getting to photograph this adorable couple’s engagement photos a couple years ago, then I got to photograph their wedding in July. Right after Cristina and Spencer received their wedding photos, while they were still on their honeymoon, they reached out to me about shooting this in home session for them as well. Of course, I was SO happy to get these two love birds in front of my camera again!
Shortly after their wedding day, Cristina and Spencer moved to New York, so Cristina could start her PhD program. That meant having to sell their beloved first home together. So before they left, they wanted a photography session to document their time in their beautiful home with each other and with their dogs.
I usually use the blog as a way to deliver sneak peek photos to my couples, however I ended up finishing and sending all of Cristina and Spencer’s photos to them the next day, so blogging completely fell off of my to do list for this session. However, I just has to show you all how adorable these two and their dogs are. I hope you love these photos as much as I loved taking them! Here are a few of my favorites from this session.
Are you looking for a wedding or couples session photographer? Want to do a cozy in home couples session like Cristina and Spencer did? I would absolutely LOVE to take beautiful portraits of you and your love! Send me a message over on my contact page! I can’t wait to hear from you and work with you soon!
August Engagement Photos at Newfields
I knew that I would LOVE working with Christine and Hunter from the moment I first received Christine’s inquiry email. I always love when, in the initial inquiry for, my couples tell me a lot about themselves, how much they love each other, and their relationship story. Knowing about my couples’ love story helps me document it so much easier. Christine trusted my expertise on everything from outfits to location ideas, which is why she and Hunter decided to do their engagement session at Newfields, my absolute favorite location for engagement photos in Indianapolis. The acres and acres of outdoor gardens are beautiful any time of year, and August was no exception.
These two love birds were troopers through the August heat. It was 90 degrees during our session, and Hunter was wearing a full suit! I LOVED the outfit choices and the fact that they were having so much fun even with the hot and humid weather. They were truly such a joy to get to photograph.
One aspect of this session that made it a little different than most of my engagement sessions is that Christine and Hunter are actually already married. I love that, because of the pandemic, couples are taking matters into their own hands and doing things in the order that works best for them. Christine and Hunter decided to get married in a backyard wedding, then have en engagement session. And they will get to celebrate their love in a vow renewal on the island of Maui, Hawaii next year in a beach ceremony! I love that they didn’t let anything stop their love.
Christine and Hunter, it was SUCH an honor to get to photograph your love! Enjoy these sneak peeks while you wait on your full gallery! I can’t wait to send you all of your photos!
Bald Rock South Carolina Couples Photos
I think I can officially say that I’ve found my new favorite location for engagement photos! My couples session with Yessi and Guillermo this morning was absolutely perfect. The way the light hits the mountains in the morning is so stunning. I stumbled across Bald Rock when I was looking for somewhere to go see a pretty Mountain View a few weeks ago and I immediately knew I just HAD to shoot a session there! It has such a beautiful overlook view of the South Carolina mountains. And it’s still so close to Greenville, which makes for an easy drive there. I highly recommend Bald Rock as a location for an engagement session. I think it would even be an amazing location for an elopement or an intimate wedding ceremony as well. I would so love to shoot an adventurous elopement here!
I loved Yessi and Guillermo’s outfit choices as well! Yessi’s long, elegant dress photographed so beautifully against the cloudy sky and the mountain backdrops. And Guillermo dressed in order to complement Yessi’s outfit perfectly. I love when couples dress in elegant, formal outfits for their engagement session. It always photographs so well!
Yes and Guillermo, it was such an honor to get to photograph the two of you! You guys are such an awesome couple, and were so fun to work with! I can’t wait to finish editing your full couples session gallery. In the mean time, enjoy these sneak peek photos here on the blog!

Downtown Greenville, South Carolina Engagement Photos
I absolutely LOVED getting to photograph Will and Itzel’s engagement photos yesterday afternoon in downtown Greenville, South Carolina. Everything about this engagement session was so perfect. It was probably one of my favorite couples sessions of all time. Downtown Greenville, SC is such a great spot for photos. I highly recommend it. There are so many beautiful and diverse backdrop options all within a few minutes walking distance of each other. Even with harsh afternoon lighting and the large downtown crowds, we had no problems at all finding beautiful spots for photos.
During this adorable couple’s engagement photo shoot, we managed to hit all of the iconic downtown Greenville locations. Of course, we had to start our session out at Liberty Bridge in Falls Park on the Ready. If you haven’t been to Greenville, this bridge is so cool! It’s located right in the heart of downtown. It’s a beautiful pedestrian bridge that overlooks the Reedy River and the downtown waterfalls and gardens at Falls Park. After taking photos on the bridge, we headed down to the the river to take photos with the stunning waterfalls in the background. Greenville is such a cool city because of the beautiful river and waterfalls that run through it, with the downtown skyline in the background. It’s such a unique mix of nature and city. Lastly, we took some photos by a smaller, secluded waterfall that I really love. It looks like we’re in the middle of the woods in those photos, but we’re still right downtown!
Will and Itzel, you two are such an awesome couple! It was such an honor to get to take engagement photos for you! Enjoy these sneak peeks from your couples session in downtown Greenville while I finish edited your full engagement session gallery!
Fort Harrison State Park June Engagement Photos
Courtney and Matt’s engagement session at Fort Harrison State Park this past weekend was just so magical! I absolutely loved getting to know these two better. They booked me quite awhile ago for their 2022 wedding, so I’ve been looking forward to their engagement session and their wedding day for so long! I knew these two were such a special couple from the moment they inquired with me. One of the parts of their story that I love the most is that Matt proposed to Courtney with a puppy! It’s a toy Australian Shepard named Poppy. How unique and adorable is that?? I can’t wait to meet Poppy!
Matt and Courtney showed up dressed PERFECTLY for their engagement photos. I absolutely love when my couples dress up. Formal outfits make for amazing photos. And they were still willing to head into the middle of the woods to take photos as well, which was so fun! Courtney’s dress was so fun and flowy that we just had to take lots of fun photos that involved movement. It was the perfect twirling dress. These two were so fun and such great models. Courtney told me before the session that they weren’t good at posing, but they were such naturals in front of the camera! It was so hard to pick just a few favorite photos from this session, because I loved all of the photos so much!
Courtney and Matt, I LOVED getting to shoot your engagement photos, and I can’t wait to get you two in front of my camera again on your wedding day next year. Enjoy these sneak peeks from your engagement session!

Coxhall Gardens Proposal
Photographing Cedric and Leah getting engaged on Saturday was so special for me since I actually know this couple personally. Cedric and Leah attend the same church as me, and Cedric is in the same small group as me. Ever since Cedric and I met each other after joining the group, I could tell just how in love he was with Leah, who was his girlfriend at the time. Everyone else in the group constantly got to hear about Leah from Cedric, and we started getting to know her better and get to know them as a couple when she started coming to our group hang outs. Everyone is obsessed with this adorable couple, and we were all SO happy and excited when Cedric told us that he had bought a ring and was planning on proposing to Leah. I was even happier when Cedric asked me to be involved by photographing the special moment.
Cedric proposed to Leah at Coxhall Gardens after a wonderful lunch together. It was a perfect day. He picked a beautiful spot on a park bench by the bong under a large willow tree. And I love that they were able to celebrate with all of their friends and family and the people most important to them after the proposal. Cedric did an amazing job of making the day so special for him and Leah. It was such a wonderful day and such a great way to celebrate their relationship and the start of the rest of their lives together.
Cedric and Leah, I am so happy and excited for you both! Congratulations on making the decision to spend the rest of your lives loving each other. I can’t wait to see how your relationship continues to grow over the years. It was such an honor to get to capture this special moment for two amazing people!
Newfields Engagement Photos During Spring Blooms
If you live in the Indianapolis area, you absolutely have to go see Newfields during their spring blooms. All of the beautiful flowers blooming makes the grounds and gardens even more beautiful than usual. I always love getting to shoot engagement sessions (or any type of sessions for that matter) at Newfields, but it’s definitely extra special during this beautiful time during the spring.
I loved getting to photograph Bhargav and Arthi during their engagement session at Newfields on Friday. These two were the sweetest couple, and I loved having the opportunity to get to know them better. Their love story is so cool! They’ve been long distance ever since they started dating while Arthi finishes Med School in Kentucky and Bhargav lives here in Indianapolis. They knew as soon as they met that they were going to get married, and Bhargav proposed to Arthi just 6 months later. Now they are getting married in just two short months in Arthi’s hometown in Michigan. After being apart for so long, they can’t wait to finally live in the same place after they get married!
I was so excited about this sweet couple’s photos that I couldn’t help but finish editing this full session the same day. I already sent Bhargav and Arthi’s full engagement session gallery over to them to enjoy and share with friends and family. So although this blog post isn’t being used as a sneak peek for the couple like it normally is, I hope that you all enjoy just a few of my absolute favorite photos from this fun engagement session!

Broad Ripple Engagement Photos
I was obsessed with the locations that Josh and Veronica picked out for their engagement photos last night. Although I’ve taken a lot of photos in downtown broad ripple, on the canal in broad ripple, on the Monon Trail and at the Indianapolis Arts Center off the Monon Trail, I had never been to this specific spot that Josh and Veronica took me to. It’s just off the Monon and has beautiful trails and paths that go along the White River. You can walk for a long time through the woods, through fields of wildflowers, and along the edge of the water. It was so pretty to walk through as I was scouting out the best spots for photos. There was such a diversity of different types of backdrops to use for lots of variety in photos during a session. I can’t wait to use this spot for lots more engagement sessions in the future!
We ended our session at Holiday Park, which I get to photograph engagement sessions at quite frequently! I love this park, but unfortunately it started raining pretty hard right when we got there. These two were troopers to deal with the rain in their nice outfits. I loved a lot of the photos we were able to get in front of the ruins and on the trails at Holiday Park.
Josh and Veronica, you two are such an awesome couple! I loved getting to meet you and getting to know you two a little bit better last night! It was so fun to photograph you! I can’t wait to have you both in front of my camera again in October for your wedding day!! Enjoy these first few sneak peeks from your engagement session last night while I finish editing your full engagement session gallery!
Indianapolis Arts Center Engagement Session
We had such a wet and rainy evening last night for Sarah and Andrew’s engagement session. But despite the less than ideal weather yesterday, I loved how laid back and go with the flow these two were. The rain didn’t phase them at all. They’re such an adventurous couple too. They brought their motorcycle to take photos with, which I loved! It was such a unique idea. I love when couples incorporate their personalities and things that they love to do together into their engagement session. It’s always fun getting to get creative with new ideas.
Sarah and Andrew chose the Indianapolis Arts Center in Broad Ripple as the location for their engagement session. I always love getting to shoot here. It’s definitely one of this city’s best hidden gem spots. There’s so many great places to shoot throughout the gardens, along the white river, in the woods, and along the Monon. There’s such a great variety of backdrops in just one location. I would definitely recommend it as an engagement session location. It worked super well for this adorable couple’s outfit choices too! These two were so much fun to work with and pose, and I could tell just how much they loved each other during our session!
Sarah and Brandon, I loved having you two in front of my camera yesterday! You were both such a joy to spend the evening with and get to know a little better! I already can’t wait to photograph you again on your wedding day! Enjoy these sneak peeks while I finish editing your full engagement session gallery!

Shadyside Park Engagement Photos in Anderson, Indiana
It was such a cold and windy day for Josie and Isaac’s engagement photos yesterday, but these two were troopers and handled the less than ideal weather so well. This adorable couple chose Shadyside Park in Anderson, Indiana as the location for their engagement photos. I love when couples choose a location that is special and important to them and to their relationship. It usually gives me a chance to shoot in a “new to me” location, which allows me the opportunity to explore and get even more creative than usual. Even though I know these two were freezing to death while we were taking photos last night, they did such a great job of just focusing on each other, having fun together, and being their natural selves, which allowed me the opportunity to fully capture their love. These two were so fun, and I loved getting to know them a little bit better during our time together yesterday.
Josie and Isaac are getting married at Tabor Church in Muncie, Indiana. It’s a church I’ve had the pleasure of photographing weddings in quite a few times over the years. It was actually the location of the very first wedding I ever photographed, so it certainly has a special place in my heart. I’m always so happy when I have another Tabor couple ask me to be their wedding photographer. I’m so excited to photograph Josie and Isaac’s wedding in May of this year. It’s one of my favorite times of year for weddings with beautiful weather and flowers in bloom.
Josie and Isaac, enjoy these first few sneak peeks from your engagement session! I can’t wait to finish editing your full engagement session gallery! And I’m so looking forward to getting you both in front of my camera again at your beautiful spring wedding!
Fall Anniversary Photos at Eagle Creek
I got a call from Travis a few weeks ago. He told me that he wanted to surprise his wife, Grace with a random fall couple's session. She had been telling him that she really wanted to get fall photos of the two of them taken, but he kept saying no so that he could surprise her with a session as a gift. How sweet is that! I'm sure he's getting a ton of husband browne points for this.
When I got to meet and photograph these two love birds last night, I realized just how fun and in love they are. They were such a joy to have in front of my camera. When we started the session, they told me they had no idea what they were doing and that they would need a ton of help with posing. Which, of course, is what I'm here for as a photographer. But they were such naturals, and by the end up the session, they were essentially posing themselves. They loved getting all cute and snuggly with each other for a couple hours. I always tell my couples that a photo session is basically a date night. You get to kiss and cuddle the person you love, and you just happen to get photos out of it too! I was back at Eagle Creek Reservoir for the second time this week for this session. All of the fall leaves are quickly disappearing, but luckily there was still plenty of color throughout the park to make for some great fall backdrops for couples portraits. They certainly won't last too much longer though. Luckily, Travis and Grace planning the perfect timing for fall photos. T
ravis and Grace, I loved getting to photograph you two last night! Enjoy these sneak peeks while I finish editing your full wedding gallery!
October Engagement Session at Eagle Creek
I LOVED getting to take engagement photos for Clay and McKenna last night! I met McKenna over 10 years ago at a camp back in highschool. We haven't seen each other since then, but we've continued to follow along with each other on social media. I was thrilled when McKenna reached out to me after she got engaged to Clay to ask me to be her wedding photographer! Life can be so crazy in awesome ways sometimes, and I absolutely love when it brings you back to old friends. I loved getting to catch up with McKenna and meet her future husband, Clay.
This sweet couples drove all the way up from Kentucky to have their engagement photos taken here in Indy at Eagle Creek Reservoir. The park is so beautiful with all of the fall colors this time of year. It's always such a popular choice for photos in the month of October. We had planned to do their session at the end of this month, but the leaves changed so much faster this year than normal, and McKenna wanted to make sure to get the beautiful fall colors in our photos before they were gone. Luckily, we were able to squeeze in a session last minute, so we could make sure to get all of these peak fall colors in the background of their portraits. It was such a perfect fall day, and McKenna and Clay were such naturals in front of the camera. I love their love for each other!
Clay and McKenna, I loved getting to photograph your engagement session, and I'm already so looking forward to your wedding next October! I can't wait to get you two back in from of my camera again! Enjoy these sneak peeks while I finish editing your full engagement session gallery!
