Christmas Maternity Photos in Downtown Greenville, SC
A Joyful Holiday Session at M Judson, Main Street, and Camperdown
If you’ve ever dreamed of celebrating your growing family with something magical and memorable, Christmas maternity photos in downtown Greenville, SC might be exactly what your heart is longing for. This sweet couple wanted a session that blended the joy of the holidays with the excitement of welcoming their first baby, and downtown Greenville provided the perfect backdrop.
We started their session at M Judson Bookstore, one of the coziest and most charming spots in Greenville. The warm brick, twinkle lights, and inviting storefront made the sweetest beginning to their story. Downtown is always beautiful, but there’s something extra special about it at Christmastime. Everything feels a little more nostalgic, a little more meaningful, especially when you’re celebrating a new life.
From there, we walked over to the iconic Christmas tree on Main Street. With its glowing lights and colorful ornaments, it added the perfect pop of holiday cheer. This couple wanted their session to feel festive and full of joy, so we leaned fully into the holiday magic. The tree became a stunning backdrop for their photos as they placed their hands gently on her growing bump and beamed with pure excitement. These are the kinds of images their child will cherish one day — the ones that show just how loved they were before they were even born.
We finished the session at Camperdown Plaza, where modern architecture meets whimsical Christmas décor. Between the elegant lights, the outdoor installations, and the open space, it gave us the perfect mix of candid moments and softly posed portraits. One of my favorite details from this session is how they incorporated their sonogram photos. It added such a meaningful, personal touch and captured the sweet anticipation of this season.
Downtown Greenville truly transforms during the holidays, and it makes the perfect location for anyone wanting Christmas maternity photos in downtown Greenville, SC. Whether you're drawn to the sparkling lights, the festive décor, or the nostalgic feeling of strolling down Main Street with someone you love, this time of year has a way of making maternity photos feel even more magical.
If you’re expecting and dreaming of maternity photos that beautifully blend connection, joy, and the wonder of the season, I would love to help you plan your own Christmas-inspired session. Greenville, South Carolina Family Christmas Photographer
This Christmas mini session was such a joy to photograph. Families travel from all over the Upstate during the holiday season, and this sweet family joined me at Radiant Collective Studio, one of the most beautiful indoor spaces for Christmas photos near Travelers Rest, South Carolina. With flocked Christmas trees, soft golden lights, and a timeless neutral palette, it creates the perfect winter backdrop for families wanting classic holiday portraits.
Their little girl absolutely stole the show. From the moment she walked in with her big smile and sparkly holiday dress, she brought so much personality and charm to the session. She explored the studio with curiosity, touched the ornaments gently, and giggled as the twinkling lights reflected in her eyes. Children bring such magic to Christmas sessions, and her joy made every photograph feel even more meaningful.
One thing I love about being considered one of the best photographers for Christmas photos near Travelers Rest, South Carolina is creating a relaxed and playful environment for kids. Christmas photos should feel warm, fun, and full of genuine connection. This family was wonderful at embracing all the little in-between moments snuggles by the tree, joyful laughter, and soft smiles exchanged between Mom and Dad while they watched their daughter play. These moments capture the heart of the season.
Her outfit was perfect for the setting. The deep green dress photographed beautifully against the snowy trees and added a festive pop of color to the neutral studio backdrop. The combination of cozy winter textures and soft glowing lights created a magical atmosphere that felt warm and inviting.
Some of my favorite images from this session were the candid moments of Mom and Dad lifting her up, spinning her gently, and sharing sweet hugs as a family. Christmas minis move quickly, but there is always time to slow down, breathe in the moment, and enjoy the season together. Families often tell me afterward how grateful they are to have photos that feel joyful and natural instead of overly posed.
If you are searching for the best photographers for Christmas photos near Travelers Rest, South Carolina, I would love to photograph your family next season. Christmas minis sell out quickly each year, and joining my email list is the best way to be notified when bookings open. Photographer with a stdio and Christmas set up In Greenville, SC
Christmas mini sessions continued at Radiant Collective Studio, and this family brought so much joy and personality to their session. If you are searching for photographers with their own studio and Christmas set up in Greenville, SC, this beautiful space is one of my favorites to photograph in. It offers a classic holiday backdrop that feels warm, inviting, and full of Christmas magic the moment you walk in.
This sweet family made the most of every moment during their session. Their baby was full of curiosity and wonder, especially when he discovered the colorful Christmas lights in his hands. Babies always bring such an authentic charm to Christmas minis, and some of my favorite images from this session were the quiet, simple ones where he sat beneath the flocked tree, wide eyed and taking everything in.
One thing I love about photographing families with little ones is how naturally tender the moments are. The snuggles, the kisses, the soft smiles these images become treasured memories for years to come. Mom and Dad were so loving and connected, and you could feel the joy they share as a family in every photo. Their baby lit up with the biggest smiles when they leaned close. Those genuine reactions are why I adore family photography during the holiday season.
The neutral and cozy outfits they chose paired beautifully with the golden tree lights and wintery tones of the studio. Radiant Collective has several styled areas which allows families to have both classic Christmas portraits as well as modern, minimal portraits all in one quick session. This variety is one of the reasons so many families choose photographers with their own studio and Christmas set up in Greenville, SC. It gives you timeless holiday photos while also offering images you can use year round.
Some of my favorite moments were the quiet couch snuggles and the joyful giggles as Mom and Dad played with their little one. Christmas minis are fast paced, but they are also filled with connection. My goal during every session is to create a relaxed experience for you and your baby. Little ones do not need to pose perfectly. They simply need to be themselves, and that is exactly what makes the photos so meaningful.
If you are interested in booking your own Christmas mini session next year in Greenville, SC, I would love to photograph your family. Be sure to join my email list so you are the first to hear when dates are announced. You never know if they will be giggling, cuddling, or wiggling, but that is what makes these sessions so memorable. Patience is key, and I love taking my time to let little personalities shine. Their plaid Christmas outfits were absolutely perfect for the festive backdrop of flocked trees and warm white lights. Christmas Mini Session Photographer in Greenville, SC
One of my favorite parts of offering Christmas mini sessions each year is getting to photograph so many wonderful families in such a magical setting. This round of sessions took place at the beautiful Radiant Collective Studio in Greer, SC, which has quickly become one of my favorite locations for Christmas minis in the Greenville area. The space is a renovated historic home that feels warm and inviting, creating the perfect backdrop for holiday photos that feel like they were taken right inside your own living room.
This sweet family was an absolute joy to photograph. Their session was relaxed, playful, and full of genuine laughter. The soft glow of the flocked Christmas trees, twinkling lights, and classic holiday fireplace decor made every moment feel festive. I especially loved capturing the connection between the siblings. From the giggles shared between the girls to the sweet father son moments, their personalities truly shined.
One of the things I love most about being one of the go to photographers for Christmas mini sessions in Greenville, SC is the variety that each family brings. Some families come dressed in formal holiday attire while others choose a more casual and cozy look. This family chose a mix of casual denim, pops of color, and fun textures, and it photographed beautifully with the neutral wintery backdrop. Their daughter even brought a friend along which allowed us to capture some extra fun portraits that they will treasure.
Radiant Collective Studio provides several styled areas, including a classic Christmas fireplace setup and a minimal clean background for modern portraits. This allowed us to create a mixture of traditional holiday photos and a few non Christmas images during the same session. Many families love having both options because it gives them photos they can use throughout the year, not only during the holidays.
If you are searching for photographers for Christmas mini sessions in Greenville, SC, I would be honored to photograph your family next season. Christmas minis are a wonderful way to document your family exactly as they are right now and they always book quickly. Christmas Mini Sessions in Greer, SC
I just finished up my last round of Christmas mini sessions for the year in Greer, SC at a brand new studio called Radiant Collective Studio. It was so fun to mix thing up and use multiple studios this year during my many dates of Christmas minis in the Greenville, SC area. I love Radiant Collective Studio because it’s an old house that was made into a studio. So it looks very cozy, more like a real home than some of the other studios around the city.
I had the privilege of also photographing this sweet little girl’s newborn photos over a year ago! It was so fun to see this beautiful family again. It’s one of the greatest honors of my career to have repeat clients that come back to me year after year and season after season to document their families as they grow. Little Harper is 16 months old now and full of energy and personality. I love working with kids. I have so many tricks to make sure the kids have fun during their photo session. From peekaboo to stuffed animals to books. And even the bubbles if I need them! It’s so much fun to see how they grow and change through the seasons. It’s little Harper’s second Christmas this year! What a fun age to really start their love for the Christmas season!
The coordinating red, white, and green in this family’s outfits were beautiful. If you’re looking for inspiration for what to wear for your family Christmas photos, this is the perfect family to draw your inspiration from.
If you’re looking for a photographer for your own family Christmas photos in the Greenville, Sc area, I would absolutely LOVE to have your sweet family in front of my camera next! You can book your session right here!
Greenville, Sc Family Videographer
Some family stories are so rich and meaningful that they deserve to be told in more than one way. That is exactly what happened during this beautiful session with Lily and her two daughters. We filmed one full Christmas video while the studio was decorated for the holidays, but we also carved out time to create a completely separate non-Christmas family video. This second film focused on who these girls are in everyday life. Their personalities. Their bond. Their quiet moments together. All the things that tell their family’s story beyond the season.
One of the biggest benefits of booking a full photo and video session is flexibility. When we have more time together, your video doesn’t have to fit into just one theme. You can choose to split your footage into two different final films. For this session, that meant creating something festive and joyful for the holidays, and something timeless and neutral that can be enjoyed at any time of year. Both videos feel completely unique, even though they were filmed on the same day.
For the non-Christmas video, we stepped away from the holiday trees and moved into the softer, more neutral areas of Radiant Collective Studio. The soft blue wallpaper, velvet sofa, and natural light created a calm and elegant backdrop that allowed the girls’ personalities to take center stage. There were moments of silliness, cozy snuggles, and quiet affection that showed exactly who they are right now. These are the kinds of moments that often become the family favorites.
Seeing Sophia so full of warmth and confidence was especially meaningful. After a long year of treatments and healing, her joy felt powerful. She curled into her mama’s arms, giggled with her sister, and relaxed completely into the space. Her big sister stayed close, patient and loving, always ready with a gentle hug or a silly face to make her smile. Their connection is something special, and capturing it on film is a gift their family will treasure for a lifetime.
A non-Christmas family video is perfect for families who want something versatile that looks beautiful year round. It also pairs perfectly with a second seasonal film when you book a full session. You can split your video into two different styles, you can create a highlight film for each child, or you can choose any combination that feels meaningful to your family. The options are flexible, and the storytelling is completely yours.
If you are dreaming of a full family video session that captures both the magic of a season and the everyday beauty of your family’s life, I would love to create something special for you.

Christmas Family Video in Greenville, SC
There is something incredibly special about creating a Christmas family video. Photos freeze a moment, but video lets you hear the laughter, see the movement, and feel the love in a way that becomes a living memory. This session was a beautiful reminder of why I adore offering full family videos during the holidays.
When Lily reached out for a Christmas video session with her two daughters, she wanted something more than smiling portraits. She wanted something real. Something that captured the way her girls love each other. Something that showed how far their family has come this year. And something her daughters can look back on one day and truly feel.
The moment they walked into Radiant Collective Studio in Greer, the whole room seemed to glow a little brighter. The space was decorated with flocked Christmas trees, warm lights, and soft gold accents. It felt peaceful, cozy, and full of the magic that only December can bring. Even though the day outside was dark and cold, you would never know it from the warmth inside that studio.
What made this session especially meaningful was watching Sophia feel so confident and joyful. After a year filled with treatments, surgeries, recovery, and so much bravery, she was full of energy and light. Her big sister stayed close, wrapping her in love, playfulness, and little hugs that only siblings seem to understand without words. Filming the two of them together was pure sweetness. They twirled, they giggled, they held hands, and they melted into their mama’s arms for the moments that matter most.
A Christmas family video gives space for that kind of magic. It lets kids take their time. It lets families settle in and relax. It allows the story of who you are right now to unfold naturally, without rushing. Full sessions are perfect for children who need time to warm up, for families who want both candid and classic moments, and for anyone who wants a keepsake that feels alive.
If you are dreaming of your own Christmas family video, there are so many beautiful options. We can film in a decorated studio like this one, create a cozy in home Christmas session, or capture your family outdoors among evergreen trees and winter light. Wherever we choose, the goal is always the same. To create something meaningful. Something honest. Something your children will cherish when they are grown.

This was the second full photo and video session that Lily booked with me this year. The first was right after her younger daughter was diagnosed with cancer. Now that Sophia’s treatment was done and she was feeling good, her mom really wanted Christmas photos with her two daughters.

Best Extended Family Photographer in Greenville
There’s something so meaningful about bringing multiple branches of a family together for one session. This extended family shoot at Paris Mountain State Park reminded me why I love photographing families in Greenville. When generations come together, it’s not just about taking pictures. It’s about documenting connection, preserving a season of life, and honoring the moments that pass far too quickly.
This session included two families, united by the cousins who stole the show. We captured a wide variety of groupings to make sure every important relationship had its own moment to shine. We took photos of the full family group, individual family units, the cousins together, siblings, parents, and even some sweet one on one moments where the kids could just be themselves with the people they love most.
A Picture Perfect Location in Upstate South Carolina
Paris Mountain State Park is one of those spots that never disappoints during the fall. The tall trees, golden light peeking through the branches, hiking paths layered with leaves, and environmental beauty makes it the perfect backdrop for extended family photos. It’s peaceful enough to create natural moments and spacious enough to accommodate large groups without feeling crowded. It’s also close to home for so many local families, which makes it a convenient choice for sessions that involve coordinating multiple schedules.
Every Grouping, No Moment Missed
One of the biggest goals of this shoot was variety with intention. In extended family sessions, there are so many dynamics to capture, and each grouping tells part of the story. Structure is key, so we moved through each combination thoughtfully while still keeping things light and enjoyable for the kids.
Here’s a glimpse into what we captured:
Full extended family photos featuring everyone together
Individual family units for updated and classic family portraits
Cousins only photos to showcase their bond
Sibling photos within each family
Parent and child pairings for sweet, sentimental moments
Candid moments sprinkled throughout where the kids could laugh, explore, and just be kids
Couples photos of the parents because those relationships are important too
The cousins were absolute naturals together. Whether hugging, laughing, or huddled close, you could feel their connection through every frame. And while we moved through a lot of groupings, the session never felt rushed or stressful. The energy stayed joyful, the kids stayed smiling, and those are always signs of a successful session.
Why Extended Family Sessions Matter
So many mamas tell me they want to remember these years exactly as they feel right now. The way cousins play together, the height difference between siblings that will surely shift by next year, the way parents look at their kids, and the way love shows up in the simplest moments. Extended family photos are a beautiful way to freeze those feelings for a lifetime.
In a busy world, it can be hard to get everyone in one place at the same time. But when you do, I promise it’s worth documenting. These photos become heirlooms. They become prints on walls, Christmas card favorites, gifts for grandparents, and pages in photo albums that bring everyone right back to this moment every time they look at them.
Choosing the Right Photographer for a Large Family
Not every photographer specializes in extended family sessions. Large groups require experience, organization, and someone who can lead the session with confidence. From directing group shots, keeping the attention of multiple kids, navigating unpredictable lighting in wooded environments, and delivering timeless, polished images that feel elevated and emotional. That’s where I come in.
Extended family photography is one of my favorite services I offer. The logistics can feel overwhelming for families planning a big photo session, but it doesn’t have to. The right photographer helps guide the process from beginning to end so the experience feels smooth, happy, and effortless for everyone involved.
Let’s Plan Yours
If you’re searching for the best extended family photographer in Greenville, I’d love to help plan a session for your family too. Whether it’s for falls colors, a milestone gathering, holiday memories, or just because you want to remember this season forever.

That’s what this is all about.

Cinematic Video from Cliffs at Glassy Chapel Proposal
Mountaintop Proposal Film at The Cliffs at Glassy Chapel
Warren planned a proposal that was heartfelt, quiet in the most beautiful way, and filled with intention. And while photos preserved the moment in stillness, the film brought it back to life in motion. When he reached out to me to help plan the proposal, he didn’t just want someone there with a camera. He wanted someone trustworthy to help craft the entire experience and preserve it fully, including video.
If you are searching for a proposal videographer in Greenville, SC, or wondering why films have become such a meaningful way to relive moments, this story is the perfect example.
The Film That Holds the Feeling
When Warren proposed to Grace at the wooden cross behind the glassy stone chapel, there was a hush in the air. No interruptions. No crowds. Just mountain ridges below them and nerves that turned into joy in seconds. That is exactly what the film captured perfectly:
The way Warren looked at her right before he asked
Grace’s sweet gasp when she realized what was happening
The hug that followed instantly after the “Yes!”
The wind and warmth of that mountaintop glow
The little in-between moments they didn’t know were memories yet
The value of proposal films is in the parts that photos can’t hold: the sound of a voice, the sway of a dress, a deep breath, or the way someone says, “Are you serious?” when their life changes for the better.
A Mountaintop with Storybook Architecture
The Cliffs at Glassy Chapel sits on a scenic peak that could double as a wedding venue. The massive windows. The white stone. The wooden texture overhead. All of it created a cinematic frame that felt once-in-a-lifetime and cinematic without needing anything staged. The film leaned into the natural drama of the location so the entire scene felt effortless, honest, and timeless.
A Victory Lap in Motion and Stills
After the proposal, we spent an hour taking engagement photos around the chapel and overlook areas. But the film continued capturing them in the background, documenting laughter, snuggles, twirls, and moments of excitement they weren’t trying to pose for. It became an engagement film too. A memory film. A feeling film.
There is something poetic about watching your proposal happen again, then seeing the joy unfold after it. Like pressing play on the first chapter of forever.
Why Film Changes the Way You Remember
Here is what I have learned over years of documenting proposals:
The proposal isn’t what you replay most. It is the reaction.
Couples remember the big moment, but they feel the smaller ones.
When you add audio and motion, the moment stops being a memory and becomes a lived experience again.
That is why videos pull at the heart and stay there.
Planning Your Own Upstate Proposal?
If you are considering a mountaintop proposal or want help selecting the right venue and crafting the right spot to propose, a photographer or videographer can become your planning partner too.
I would love to help plan and preserve your proposal story in Greenville or the surrounding Upstate area.

Mountaintop Surprise Proposal at The Cliffs at Glassy Chapel
Warren wanted something unforgettable, personal, and intentional for the start of his forever with Grace. When he reached out to me, we began planning not just photos, but the perfect moment to start their forever. He trusted me to help choose the venue, decide exactly where to propose, and ensure every detail felt true to their story. The result? Pure magic on a mountaintop behind one of the most breathtaking chapels in the Upstate.
If you're searching for a mountaintop proposal photographer in Greenville, this is exactly why locations like The Cliffs at Glassy truly shine. Perched high above the trees, the chapel sits on a scenic peak that feels more like a destination wedding venue than a spot for a surprise engagement. White stone. Expansive windows. Soft, warm light sweeping through the interior. And outside, mountain views for days. But the real showstopper? The cross behind the chapel that overlooks the Blue Ridge horizon, the very spot where Warren dropped to one knee.
Warren shared that he wanted a mountaintop proposal. He thought about using Pretty Place, but he wanted something more quiet an intimate, away from the crowds.
We narrowed in quickly on The Cliffs at Glassy Chapel because it checked every box. The location is a dream for anyone looking to capture their engagement photos overlooking the mountains in Greenville, SC. More importantly, it set the tone for their love: deep, intentional, and filled with awe.
Together, we planned the exact moment, the exact location, and even the direction Warren would face as he proposed to ensure the photos would capture both the emotion and the landscape in all its beauty.
Just behind the chapel is a wooden cross perched near the overlook. With the sky glowing bright and the entire valley spread out beneath them, Warren stepped into position and asked Grace his most important question. It was intimate, raw, and shockingly beautiful. No staged moment could have compared. The cross became the symbol beyond the symbol: faith, love, and the beginning of their shared path.
Engagement Portraits After the “Yes!”
Once the tears dried and the excitement set in, we transitioned right into engagement photos. We spent an hour exploring the chapel architecture and the surrounding overlook areas. Warren had one priority: capture photos that felt joyful, timeless, and stress-free, while celebrating their new engagement glow. You can feel the celebration in every smile.
The chapel offered a perfect blend of elegance and natural texture, allowing the images to have depth without distracting from the moment or the couple. The result was an hour of photos that felt like a romantic victory lap after an unexpected plot twist.
Planning a Proposal in the Upstate?
If you’re considering a mountaintop proposal, want breathtaking views, and need help selecting the right venue and proposal location, a photographer can do more than capture it. A photographer can help plan it.
I’d be honored to help craft your own surprise engagement story in Greenville or the surrounding Upstate area. Let’s plan your proposal together.
Maternity Christmas Photos in Greenville, SC

Greenville Christmas Mini Session Photographer for Big Families
If you’re looking for a Greenville Christmas Mini Session Photographer for Big Families, you’re in the right place! Some photographers have a cap on the number of people that can be included in a mini session, but I don’t! I absolutely love photographing big families. I’ve even had multiple extended families choose to take part in my mini sessions. The family below had 8 kids as well as the mom and dad, and we were able to get amazing photos for their annual Christmas photos and holiday cards. I love what we were able to capture for them.
I started by taking individual photos of each kid. I also took couples photos of the mom and dad together. Then I took both standing and sitting photos of the whole family in front of my Christmas studio backdrop. We took photos of just all of the kids together, all of the boys together, and all of the girls together. Then I ended by asking them if there were any other combinations or photos that they wanted. Many of them wanted photos with specific siblings. Some wanted photos alone with their parents. I loved how the teenagers were so into the photo session and they were really excited about the photos.
The black and white outfit color scheme worked perfectly for Christmas photos. I love a good neutral color pallet for Christmas photos.

This is the perfect session to draw your inspiration from when planning your own outfits for your Christmas card photos. And don't forget, my client closet is always available for all of my sessions. Not sure what to wear? I offer dresses for mamas, outfits for babies, and dresses for little girls. And I'm always adding to my client closet!

Holiday Mini Sessions with a Studio Holiday Set Up in Greenville, SC
When you sign up for one of my Studio Holiday Mini Sessions in Greenville, SC, your wish is truly my command. These are not just cookie cutter photo sessions where I treat every client and every family exact the same. On the contrary, one of my core beliefs as a family photographer is a customized, tailored session where your photo gallery feels authentic to your family. Now, this may mean that you come to me knowing exactly what you want. It may not. You don’t have to come to your session with any pose ideas or any ideas at all. That’s why you hired me. One of the ways I build a session that’s tailored to your family is by sending out a client questionnaire prior to our session. You’re welcome to tell me any specific photos that you want, but I also just ask you some questions to get to know your family. I ask what you and your spouse love about each other. I also about your kids’ personalities. I ask what you want to remember about this season of life. From these answers, I can determine certain things about you. Maybe you’re an energetic family that would do well with posing prompts where you’re moving and active. Maybe you’re a more reserved family that needs some help feeling comfortable in front of the camera. Maybe you would really appreciate the close up details of your kids. The little freckles. The baby girls. Maybe you really want to capture the sweet sibling relationship between your kids. My goal is to capture the essence of your family. And to capture photos that YOU will love, which is different from what another mama may love.
In the session below, the mama really wanted individual photos of her kids with no Christmas backdrop to hang in her home. She also wanted a full family photo with no Holiday backdrop. For the rest of the photos, we used the studio Holiday set up. Since this mama was also a fellow photographer, I knew that she would love and appreciate the candid photos in addition to the looking and smiling at the camera photos, so I made sure to capture those for her. Also, as a fellow photographer, this families outfits were on point! I personally LOVE a good neutral color palette with a Christmas backdrop for holiday photos.

Peak Fall Colors For Family Photos in Greenville, SC
Peak Fall Colors for Family Photos in Greenville, SC
There is something magical about family photos taken during peak fall colors in Greenville, SC. The golden leaves, the soft breeze, and the warm glow of the sun create the perfect backdrop for documenting the sweetest family moments. This session was one of those beautiful November afternoons where everything lined up perfectly and reminded me why fall is one of the most popular seasons for family photos in the Upstate.
This sweet family chose a lakeside location filled with tall grasses, mature trees, and vibrant autumn tones. The result was a gallery full of soft, joyful images that feel timeless and full of life. The warm oranges and golds from the trees paired beautifully with their soft, neutral outfits. Everything came together in the most effortless way.
A Beautiful Afternoon Filled With Laughter
The kids were full of energy and excitement from the moment we started. They explored, laughed, held hands, and played in the leaves. I always encourage families to let their children be themselves because that is when the most honest and meaningful moments happen. These two siblings were adorable together. Whether they were tossing leaves, sharing hugs, or walking hand-in-hand, they were so natural in front of the camera.
Moments between the children and their parents were equally tender. I loved capturing the way their mom held them close, the little smiles they shared, and the way their dad lit up with them by his side. Fall is such a beautiful reminder of how quickly the seasons change. Photos like these help preserve the sweetness of right now.
Gorgeous Fall Light and Color
Greenville is known for its stunning fall foliage, and this session was the perfect example of how magical the colors can be at their peak. The orange and copper tones in the trees created a dreamy backdrop that glowed in the afternoon sun. The soft light reflecting off the lake behind them added even more warmth and depth to their images.
If you have been thinking about scheduling your own fall session, peak color usually arrives in late October through mid-November. Every year is a little different, but the soft, warm palette during this time is absolutely perfect for family photos.
Timeless, Relaxed, and Joyful
My approach to family photography focuses on connection, natural movement, and documenting the love that makes your family unique. This session was full of those little in-between moments that tell a story. A kiss on the cheek. A quiet snuggle in the grass. A child riding on mom’s shoulders. These are the memories that matter most.
I want every family to walk away with photos that feel true to them, filled with warmth and emotion, and worthy of being framed on their walls.

Fall Golden Hour Outdoor Newborn Photos at Lake Keowee
There is something incredibly peaceful about photographing a newborn outdoors, especially during golden hour. The soft glow, the warm breeze, and the gentle quiet of nature create the sweetest atmosphere for capturing those early moments of life. This fall outdoor newborn photoshoot on Lake Keowee was filled with so much love and tenderness, and I am so excited to share a look into this beautiful session.
This session took place at the family’s private home on Lake Keowee, which offered the perfect blend of warm fall color, sparkling water, and cozy spaces for cuddling up with their newest little one. The golden light filtered through the trees, creating a dreamy backdrop for this family to hold, snuggle, and admire their tiny new baby.
We began the session with natural moments between mom and her newborn. She wore a stunning deep green dress that paired beautifully with the warm tones of the season. Her baby girl slept soundly against her chest as we captured those quiet early connections that mean so much. From there, we moved into the soft sunlight where she held her baby close, breathing her in and enjoying the sweetness of these early weeks.
Grandparents joined in for part of the session, and those moments were some of my favorites. There is something special about seeing a new grandparent holding their tiny grandbaby for the very first time. The joy, the tenderness, and the pride are so real and so beautiful. This grandmother held her sleeping grandbaby close, soaking in every second, and the soft golden hour light made the moment feel even more magical.
We ended with family portraits on the dock overlooking the lake. The warm tones of fall reflected on the water while mom and dad held their little girl close. The peacefulness of the lake made these images feel timeless and full of emotion.
Outdoor newborn sessions are such a wonderful way to capture those fleeting early weeks. Babies stay snuggled in your arms, and the natural landscape adds softness and warmth without feeling staged. If you are hoping for an outdoor newborn photoshoot on Lake Keowee or anywhere in the Greenville area, I would love to create something sweet and sentimental for your family.

Extended Family Photographer in Greer, SC
There is nothing sweeter than photographing a big, beautiful family all together in one place. As an extended family photographer in Greenville, SC, these sessions are some of my absolute favorites because they bring together multiple generations, stories, and relationships that deserve to be remembered forever.
This extended family chose a stunning fall morning for their session, and the timing could not have been more perfect. The trees were glowing with golden and copper tones, the air was crisp, and the sunshine created the prettiest light through the leaves. It was one of those days that felt peaceful, joyful, and full of gratitude.
Celebrating Three Generations
One of the most meaningful parts of extended family sessions is the chance to photograph grandparents with their grandchildren. These are the photos that become treasured heirlooms. During this session, the grandparents were beaming as they held their grandbabies, laughed with their adult children, and soaked in the beautiful chaos that comes with having a big family.
We made sure to capture every combination
• Grandparents with the grandkids
• Each individual family
• All the cousins together
• Couples
• The entire group in one joyful shot
Every grouping tells a different part of the family story.
Warm Fall Colors and Beautiful Outfits
The warm, earthy tones this family chose were absolutely perfect for the setting. The maroons, creams, rust colors, and soft textures blended beautifully with the peak fall color around us. Their outfits created a cohesive look without feeling overly matched, which always photographs so well.
The background of glowing trees, fallen leaves, and soft natural light added even more warmth and depth to every image. Fall is one of the most popular times of year for extended family photos in Greenville, and this session shows exactly why.
Natural, Relaxed, and Full of Joy
Extended family sessions often come with a mix of energy, little ones running around, and lots of laughter, and that is exactly what makes them so special. My approach focuses on staying relaxed, encouraging natural interactions, and letting families be themselves.
Some of my favorite moments from this session were
• The baby smiling as both parents kissed her cheeks
• The grandparents laughing with their granddaughter
• Little ones exploring the leaves
• Quiet snuggles between parents and babies
• The joy on everyone’s faces during the big group photo
These are the memories that families hold onto for years.
Why Extended Family Photos Matter
Life moves quickly and it is not often that every family member ends up in the same place at the same time. Photographing these multigenerational connections is such an honor. Extended family photos tell a story of legacy, love, and togetherness. They freeze a moment in time that will only grow more meaningful as the years go by.
