Furman Rose Garden Mother's Day Photos
It was a beautiful, foggy morning this morning in the Furman Rose Garden during my mother's day photo session with Amanda, Mitch, and their 9 month old son, Mason. It was such a unique look that I don't usually get to see at Furman. We couldn't even see the mountains from the lake view like we usually do. But I think it made for some stunning family portraits. The Furman University Rose garden is in full bloom right now and it's the absolute perfect spot for family photos. Since we were there so early this morning, we had the whole garden to ourselves, which is so unusual! It can get super packed at sunset time.
Whenever I'm photographing a family is a location I use a lot, I try to find new ways to be creative and do things I've never done before. I don't usually have the space in the rose garden to take sitting photos amongst all the flowers, so I was so excited that Amanda and Mitch trusted me to capture beautiful sitting photos of them. We also used a really pretty tall grass field spot that I like on the other side of the lake, and I love how cool the fog looks in those photos at the end of the session.
Here are a few of my favorite photos of Amanda, Mitch, and Mason for Mother's Day weekend! I hope you love these photos as much as I do! If you're interested in booking your own family photos, please reach out to me over on my contact page!
