WHY you should start a client closet as a motherhood photographer

It’s our job as family and newborn photographers to flatter our mamas. ESPECIALLY our postpartum mamas. Being invited into the newborn bubble is such a sacred and beautiful time. It’s also a vulnerable time and there is so much going on, so much changing with mama’s body. They have no idea what size they’re going to be. And if they’re a first time mom, they have no idea how to dress for a postpartum body. And they have no idea what photographs well and looks good on camera.

You can drastically improve your client experience and uplevel your photos by providing dresses for mamas for newborn, maternity, and family sessions.

WHEN to start your client closet

When should you start your client closet as a motherhood and newborn photographer?

  2. When you’re ready to uplevel your client experience

  3. When you’re ready to uplevel your photos and your portfolio
