The soft golden light, the cozy sweaters, the warm earth tones—all of it comes together to create the perfect backdrop for families soaking up this sweet season of life. This adorable family joined me for my November 9 mini sessions at Paris Mountain State Park, and their gallery is such a lovely example of casual fall maternity photos in Greenville.

When they stepped in front of the camera, they were instantly relaxed and connected. Their little boy brought the cutest stuffed pup along for the session, and I love when families include sentimental items that feel true to them. It made the photos even more personal, and his big blue eyes and joyful smiles were the perfect mix of playful and tender.

We spent our time laughing, snuggling, walking through the leaves, and letting their little boy bounce between parents for all the love and attention he could soak up.

Toward the end, we settled on a blanket for a few relaxed family shots. These images always end up being favorites—there’s just something so natural about sitting close, cuddling your little one, and soaking in these fleeting moments before life changes again.

This session was a beautiful reminder of why fall is one of my favorite times of year for family and maternity portraits. The colors, the light, and the cozy outfits create such a timeless feeling. And Paris Mountain State Park delivered the prettiest autumn backdrop as always.
