Greenville Fall Mini Session with Peak Fall Colors

The end of October in Greenville, South Carolina, is when the magic of fall really comes alive. While full peak color usually happens in early November, late October in the Upstate is just breathtaking too. The golden yellows, burnt oranges, and bright reds transform every corner of Greenville into the perfect backdrop for family photos. One of my favorite spots to capture this beauty is Furman University; the sidewalks are lined with stunning trees that seem to glow when the sunlight filters through. It’s one of those quintessential fall locations that makes every session feel extra special.

This round of Greenville fall mini sessions featured this sweet family of five; mom, dad, their three adorable kids, and so much laughter. We met on a cool, crisp morning, and the light was absolutely perfect. The older siblings were full of energy and giggles, while their youngest was happiest snuggled up in mom’s arms. I love how relaxed and playful this family was in front of my camera. We spent the session exploring the Timmons Promenade, capturing a mix of posed portraits and candid, joy-filled moments; the kind of photos that truly show their connection and love.

In just fifteen minutes, we captured over a hundred photos; all filled with warmth, laughter, and those fleeting little moments that make family life so sweet. That’s what I love most about mini sessions: they’re short, easy, and full of genuine memories that will last forever.
