Holiday Mini Sessions with a Studio Holiday Set Up in Greenville, SC

When you sign up for one of my Studio Holiday Mini Sessions in Greenville, SC, your wish is truly my command. These are not just cookie cutter photo sessions where I treat every client and every family exact the same. On the contrary, one of my core beliefs as a family photographer is a customized, tailored session where your photo gallery feels authentic to your family. Now, this may mean that you come to me knowing exactly what you want. It may not. You don’t have to come to your session with any pose ideas or any ideas at all. That’s why you hired me. One of the ways I build a session that’s tailored to your family is by sending out a client questionnaire prior to our session. You’re welcome to tell me any specific photos that you want, but I also just ask you some questions to get to know your family. I ask what you and your spouse love about each other. I also about your kids’ personalities. I ask what you want to remember about this season of life. From these answers, I can determine certain things about you. Maybe you’re an energetic family that would do well with posing prompts where you’re moving and active. Maybe you’re a more reserved family that needs some help feeling comfortable in front of the camera. Maybe you would really appreciate the close up details of your kids. The little freckles. The baby girls. Maybe you really want to capture the sweet sibling relationship between your kids. My goal is to capture the essence of your family. And to capture photos that YOU will love, which is different from what another mama may love.

In the session below, the mama really wanted individual photos of her kids with no Christmas backdrop to hang in her home. She also wanted a full family photo with no Holiday backdrop. For the rest of the photos, we used the studio Holiday set up. Since this mama was also a fellow photographer, I knew that she would love and appreciate the candid photos in addition to the looking and smiling at the camera photos, so I made sure to capture those for her. Also, as a fellow photographer, this families outfits were on point! I personally LOVE a good neutral color palette with a Christmas backdrop for holiday photos.
