Spring Wedding At Valle Vista
I have the best job in the entire world. I get to photograph madly in love couples on the happiest day of their lives. I get to witness so much joy and so much love on every wedding day. And it never ever gets old. But even after photographing so many amazing couples, I could tell there was something extra special about the connection between Brad and Olivia. The love and joy between these two was overflowing, and throughout the entire wedding day, I just kept thinking to myself “wow, these two were truly made for each other!”
Brad and Olivia have the sweetest story. They are high school sweethearts who met when they were just 15 years old. They were long distance for four years while Brad was in the military but nothing could stop these two from staying together. They were finally able to live in the same state again when Olivia moved to North Carolina to be with Brad. And they are so excited to never have to live apart from each other again.
Brad and Olivia, it was such an honor to be your wedding photographer! Enjoy these first few sneak peeks from your wedding day. I can’t wait to finish editing your full gallery!
A HUGE thank you to Olivia and Brad’s amazing vendor team. These incredible wedding vendors made this wedding day one of the smoothest and stress free days I’ve ever had the pleasure of photographing!

Indianapolis Arts Center Engagement Session
We had such a wet and rainy evening last night for Sarah and Andrew’s engagement session. But despite the less than ideal weather yesterday, I loved how laid back and go with the flow these two were. The rain didn’t phase them at all. They’re such an adventurous couple too. They brought their motorcycle to take photos with, which I loved! It was such a unique idea. I love when couples incorporate their personalities and things that they love to do together into their engagement session. It’s always fun getting to get creative with new ideas.
Sarah and Andrew chose the Indianapolis Arts Center in Broad Ripple as the location for their engagement session. I always love getting to shoot here. It’s definitely one of this city’s best hidden gem spots. There’s so many great places to shoot throughout the gardens, along the white river, in the woods, and along the Monon. There’s such a great variety of backdrops in just one location. I would definitely recommend it as an engagement session location. It worked super well for this adorable couple’s outfit choices too! These two were so much fun to work with and pose, and I could tell just how much they loved each other during our session!
Sarah and Brandon, I loved having you two in front of my camera yesterday! You were both such a joy to spend the evening with and get to know a little better! I already can’t wait to photograph you again on your wedding day! Enjoy these sneak peeks while I finish editing your full engagement session gallery!
Are you looking for a wedding photographer, engagement session photographer, or couple’s session photographer? I would absolutely LOVE to work with you! Send me a message over on my contact page to see if I have your wedding date available!
Shadyside Park Engagement Photos in Anderson, Indiana
It was such a cold and windy day for Josie and Isaac’s engagement photos yesterday, but these two were troopers and handled the less than ideal weather so well. This adorable couple chose Shadyside Park in Anderson, Indiana as the location for their engagement photos. I love when couples choose a location that is special and important to them and to their relationship. It usually gives me a chance to shoot in a “new to me” location, which allows me the opportunity to explore and get even more creative than usual. Even though I know these two were freezing to death while we were taking photos last night, they did such a great job of just focusing on each other, having fun together, and being their natural selves, which allowed me the opportunity to fully capture their love. These two were so fun, and I loved getting to know them a little bit better during our time together yesterday.
Josie and Isaac are getting married at Tabor Church in Muncie, Indiana. It’s a church I’ve had the pleasure of photographing weddings in quite a few times over the years. It was actually the location of the very first wedding I ever photographed, so it certainly has a special place in my heart. I’m always so happy when I have another Tabor couple ask me to be their wedding photographer. I’m so excited to photograph Josie and Isaac’s wedding in May of this year. It’s one of my favorite times of year for weddings with beautiful weather and flowers in bloom.
Josie and Isaac, enjoy these first few sneak peeks from your engagement session! I can’t wait to finish editing your full engagement session gallery! And I’m so looking forward to getting you both in front of my camera again at your beautiful spring wedding!
Vision Loft Wedding in Downtown Indianapolis
I’ve been looking forward to Kelsey and Tony’s VisionLoft wedding in downtown Indianapolis for so long! It’s so fun when I get to photograph weddings for couples I know and I love! Kelsey has been close friends with my sister since high school. And the two of them have been roommates for four years now. Although now Kelsey has a new forever roomie in her new husband, Tony!
Like so many of my couples’ weddings this past year, Kelsey and Tony’s big wedding was another casualty of Covid. They moved their big wedding to July, but I love that they still decided to get married on their original wedding date! They got married in a small ceremony with only their immediate family members and their bridal party present. Although they live steamed their ceremony, and many more family and friends were able to attend via zoom! The zoom call was even projected on the back wall of the venue, and Kelsey and Tony could see all of their family and friends and were able to talk to them after the ceremony, which was so fun!
My favorite part of Kelsey and Tony’s wedding day was their unity ceremony. They did something so unique that I’ve never seen before. They purchased a bible that they want to be their family bible throughout their lives where they will mark down important milestones in their family’s lives. During the ceremony, they each picked out a special verse to share with each other and marked it in the Bible. I love that they will be able to keep this special memory for the rest of their lives and pass it down to their children.
Kelsey and Tony, you two are such an amazing couple, and it was such an honor to get to photograph your wedding ceremony. I can’t wait to photograph you again at your reception in July. I hope you enjoy these first few sneak peek photos from your wedding day while I edit your full gallery!
A huge thank you to Kelsey and Tony’s amazing vendor team! All of these vendors were amazing to work with and made Kelsey and Tony’s wedding day go so smoothly and beautifully!

Indianapolis Maternity Photos
I was so excited when Karin reached out to me to tell me that she’s pregnant! I always get especially excited when my previous engagement session and wedding clients start to have kids. I got to photograph Karin and Daniel’s engagement session way back in 2017. I loved getting to work with this super sweet couple back when they were engaged, so I knew that of course, I would love getting to work with them again this year for their maternity session photos. These two were so sweet and fun to work with, and of course, Karin looked absolutely gorgeous! And of course, she was just glowing! It was so amazing to get to take pregnancy photos for Karin Daniel on such a beautiful morning this morning.
Karin booked the absolutely stunning Laurel Hall for her maternity session. Lauren Hall is one of my favorite wedding venues in the Indianapolis area, so of course, I was super excited to shoot more maternity photos at this gorgeous venue as well. Laurel Hall has so many beautiful spaces for portraits, both indoors and outdoors. I love to use this venue for portrait sessions as well as shooting weddings here. It was so nice to be able to shoot indoors with beautiful natural lighting on such a cold morning. Unfortunately we didn’t get to shoot outdoors because of the cold weather and all of the ice. But we got to use so many of the gorgeous indoor spots around the building.
Karin and Daniel. I hope you enjoy these sneak peaks from your maternity session this morning! I can’t wait to send you the rest of your photos so soon!
Are you looking for a maternity photographer? I would love to work with you! Send me a message over on my contact page to chat about your session!
Fall Wedding at Hidden Hollow Farms
It was the perfect day for Tori and Derrick's wedding today. How often do you get a 70 degree day in November?! I photographed a wedding at this exact same venue at almost the exact same time of year two years ago and it was less than 30 degrees. So these two really lucked out with an amazing fall day to get married on. I LOVED getting to work with this sweet couple today along with their awesome families and their fun bridal party members.
All of Tori and Derrick's interactions today were so so sweet. I love the way they love each other. The way Derrick teared up when Tori was walking down the aisle towards him, the way Tori cried while reading her vows, the way Derrick always kept Tori laughing, and the way these two looked at each other all day long was so amazing to witness. It was so evident just how much these two love each other.
Tori and Derrick, it was SUCH an honor to get to be your wedding photographer! I loved having you two in front of my camera today! I absolutely can't wait to finish editing your full wedding gallery with all of your beautiful wedding images. Until then, enjoy these first few sneak peeks. Halloween Wedding at Bridgeton 1878 House and Barn
Laken and James’s wedding is one that I’ve been looking forward to for so long! I first met Laken at her matron of honor, Amanda’s destination wedding in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico last year. That was such a fun bridal party to work with, and I was thrilled when Laken asked me to photograph her wedding after her and James got engaged! It’s been so fun to work with this same group of friends multiple times now!
These two had such a fun Halloween wedding. The weather was perfect for a late October day and everything was so beautiful! Laken and her bridesmaids got ready at a cute little cabin with a beautiful lake view before we headed over to Bridgeton 1878 house and barn for the first look, portraits, and wedding. I had never been to Bridgeton before, but it’s so adorable! There are so many cute shops, a mill, and even a beautiful waterfall to take photos in front of! I also loved that these two made room in their timeline for sunset photos! We got such a beautiful sunset last night!
Laken and James, it was SUCH an honor to be your wedding photographer! You two are the sweetest and I LOVED getting to work with you and photograph you two again! I can’t wait to finish editing your full wedding gallery! Until then, enjoy these first few sneak peeks!

Traders Point Creamery Wedding
Wow wow wow! Ally and Ben's Traders Point Creamery Wedding on Saturday was such a dream! I loved everything about this day! Ally and Ben are so sweet together! They both teared up so many times throughout the day, like during their first look and while Ally was walking down the aisle toward Ben during their ceremony. It was so evident throughout the entire day just how much love these two have for each other and how perfect they are for one another.
One of my favorite parts of any wedding day is usually the toasts. I get so much insight into the couple's love story from hearing their friends and family talk about their relationship. One thing that really stood out to me based on the toasts was how well Ally and Ben fit into each other's families. It really was such a beautiful blending of two families.

Fall Anniversary Photos at Eagle Creek
I got a call from Travis a few weeks ago. He told me that he wanted to surprise his wife, Grace with a random fall couple's session. She had been telling him that she really wanted to get fall photos of the two of them taken, but he kept saying no so that he could surprise her with a session as a gift. How sweet is that! I'm sure he's getting a ton of husband browne points for this.
When I got to meet and photograph these two love birds last night, I realized just how fun and in love they are. They were such a joy to have in front of my camera. When we started the session, they told me they had no idea what they were doing and that they would need a ton of help with posing. Which, of course, is what I'm here for as a photographer. But they were such naturals, and by the end up the session, they were essentially posing themselves. They loved getting all cute and snuggly with each other for a couple hours. I always tell my couples that a photo session is basically a date night. You get to kiss and cuddle the person you love, and you just happen to get photos out of it too! I was back at Eagle Creek Reservoir for the second time this week for this session. All of the fall leaves are quickly disappearing, but luckily there was still plenty of color throughout the park to make for some great fall backdrops for couples portraits. They certainly won't last too much longer though. Luckily, Travis and Grace planning the perfect timing for fall photos. T
ravis and Grace, I loved getting to photograph you two last night! Enjoy these sneak peeks while I finish editing your full wedding gallery!
Wedding Portraits at Holcomb Gardens
Although Cassie and Patrick's big wedding was rescheduled until next year due to Covid, they still were sure that they wanted to get married on their original wedding date. That's what happens when you find the love of your life. You just can't wait to marry them. That's why I find these covid elopements so incredibly romantic. I love when couples are so in love that they just have to get married now even if they aren't able to have a big wedding right now.
I first got the privilege of photographing these two love birds last year for their engagement session at Holcomb Gardens. We came back to the same spots at Holcomb gardens for their wedding portraits this year, which was so fun. They had a catholic mass for their wedding ceremony in Broad Ripple close to Butler for just their immediate families. It was such a sweet and intimate wedding ceremony. Afterwards, we took family photos and then bride and groom photos. I can't wait to photograph their big wedding next year as well! I'm sure it will be just as beautiful, special, and fun. I keep telling all of my couples that now they get to have two anniversaries to celebrate. When a global pandemic ruins your wedding plans, you have to find as many positives in the situation as you possibly can, and having two anniversaries is certainly one of them in my opinion! It's so fun to get to celebrate with friends and family twice!
Cassie and Patrick, it was such an honor to get to be your wedding photographer, and I'm already so looking forward to your big wedding next year! I can't wait to get you two back in from of my camera again! Enjoy these sneak peeks while I finish editing your full wedding gallery!
October Engagement Session at Eagle Creek
I LOVED getting to take engagement photos for Clay and McKenna last night! I met McKenna over 10 years ago at a camp back in highschool. We haven't seen each other since then, but we've continued to follow along with each other on social media. I was thrilled when McKenna reached out to me after she got engaged to Clay to ask me to be her wedding photographer! Life can be so crazy in awesome ways sometimes, and I absolutely love when it brings you back to old friends. I loved getting to catch up with McKenna and meet her future husband, Clay.
This sweet couples drove all the way up from Kentucky to have their engagement photos taken here in Indy at Eagle Creek Reservoir. The park is so beautiful with all of the fall colors this time of year. It's always such a popular choice for photos in the month of October. We had planned to do their session at the end of this month, but the leaves changed so much faster this year than normal, and McKenna wanted to make sure to get the beautiful fall colors in our photos before they were gone. Luckily, we were able to squeeze in a session last minute, so we could make sure to get all of these peak fall colors in the background of their portraits. It was such a perfect fall day, and McKenna and Clay were such naturals in front of the camera. I love their love for each other!
Clay and McKenna, I loved getting to photograph your engagement session, and I'm already so looking forward to your wedding next October! I can't wait to get you two back in from of my camera again! Enjoy these sneak peeks while I finish editing your full engagement session gallery!
October Engagement Session at Holcomb Gardens
Tonight was the absolute PERFECT night for Lindsey and Brendan's engagement session at Holcomb Gardens and Butler University's campus. The temperature was perfect for a fall day, and the fall colors on the trees are just now peaking. Leaves were falling all around us as these two love birds posed romantically. It's so hard to know what October will look like in terms of weather and peak tree colors, but this October has certainly not disappointed.
Holcomb Gardens and Butler University was the perfect spot for an engagement session for these two since Lindsey and Brendan met at Butler and graduated from this University a couple years ago. I absolutely love when couples choose a location that is special and meaningful to them for their engagement session. And Holcomb Gardens just happens to be one of my favorite locations to shoot here in the Indianapolis area. There is a beautiful trail where you can walk all the way down to Newfields and Hundred Acre Woods. There are also so many fun bridges and I love the stairs by the bell tower. I've also recently discovered a parking garage rooftop with stunning views. It's the perfect spot for sunset photos in my opinion. I'm obsessed with the photos I got to take of Lindsey and Brendan up there tonight.
This couple was SO photogenic and romantic. I loved all of their interactions with each other. I barely even had to pose them, because they just knew what to do and looked so stunning while doing it.
Lindsey and Brendan, I loved getting to photograph your engagement session, and I'm already so looking forward to your wedding at Balmoral House next September! I can't wait to get you two back in from of my camera again! Enjoy these sneak peeks while I finish editing your full engagement session gallery!
Intimate Backyard Wedding
Yesterday, 10/10/2020, was the most popular wedding day of the year by far...perhaps the most popular day to get married ever. Brides and grooms love their double digits and this year has plenty of them. Plus, with October having perfect weather, it's always a popular month for weddings. What a perfectly magical day it was. It was sunny and in the 70's, the fall colors were peaking, and leaves were falling. Valerie and Caleb could not have asked for a better day to get married.
Unfortunately, the current pandemic forced these love birds to change their original wedding plans from a large wedding at the dunes in Michigan to an intimate backyard celebration at Valerie's parents' home. These two took everything in stride and were such a joy to work with at all times despite all of their set backs. Their intimate wedding was stunningly beautiful. From the ceremony arch, to the whimsical farmhouse style table in the backyard, to all of the flowers in the garden in the background, all of the details from this wedding were amazing! And Valerie and Caleb got to celebrate their marriage with those closest to them that the love the most, which is what really made the day perfect.
Valerie and Caleb, it was SUCH an honor to get to be your wedding photographer! Enjoy these sneak peeks while I finish editing your full wedding day gallery!

Anderson, Indiana Wedding
Yesterday was Cassandra and Daniel’s second wedding day, and I loved getting to celebrate with them twice! One of the benefits that Covid has brought is the ability to celebrate twice for those who had to postpone their wedding day but decided to still get married on their original wedding day. Cassandra and Daniel were married back in May but finally got to celebrate with all of their friends and family yesterday.
Back in May, Cassandra and Daniel were married on Cassandra’s family’s property where I’ve had the pleasure of photographing many other weddings as well. For their reception, they chose Park Place Church of God on Anderson University’s campus as their venue. It’s such a beautiful church, and was certainly a great choice. One of the things I loved about this wedding is that Cassandra’s oldest sister got married in the venue as well, so we got to recreate some fun photos from that wedding.
Since Cassandra and Daniel were already married, there were a few things that were a little different about this wedding than usual. First, I loved that Cassandra and Daniel decided to walk down the aisle to the ceremony together. Since Cassandra’s father had already given away his daughter, this time, a married couple walked down the aisle together. I also loved that during their ceremony, they decided to share some things they have learned during their first five months of marriage. Both of Cassandra and Daniel’s weddings were amazing and so much fun to photograph!
Cassandra and Daniel, it was SUCH an honor getting to be your wedding photographer…twice! Enjoy these sneak peeks while I finish editing your full wedding gallery!

Fort Harrison State Park Wedding
Yesterday was such a special day. Even though Covid forced Manuel and Jessica to cancel the big wedding they had planned, we still had an amazing day taking bride and groom portrait for them. These two have been through have been through the same stress that so many other 2020 brides and grooms have unfortunately been through this year. It's such a tough year to try to plan a wedding. But through it all, I loved how these two kept a positive attitude, knowing that the most important thing was that they were married and they had each other. That is way more important than having a big wedding.
Jessica and Manuel actually had a small ceremony almost exactly a year ago where they got legally married, so we decided to take their bride and groom portraits close to their one year anniversary of being married. And we got to take them in the exact same location that they got married in, at Fort Harrison State Park, right by the river. It was such a beautiful location! Since these two had been saving reading their vows to each other for their big wedding, they decided to read their vows to each other yesterday under their beautiful arch. It was such a special moment that I loved getting to photograph.
Also, check out the amazing details that I'm including photos of as well! Jessica is such a talented artist that made almost everything herself! I was so impressed with all of her work!
Jessica and Manuel, it was SUCH an honor to get to be your wedding photographer! Enjoy these sneak peeks while I finish editing your full gallery of bride and groom portraits!

Butler University Engagement Session
Kelsey and Tony's engagement session was one that I've been looking forward to for so long! I've known Kelsey for years. She's actually roommates with my sister. And it's been so great getting to know Tony as well and seeing this beautiful love story unfold. These two are so fun together, and I loved finally getting them in front of my camera.
We started off our session at Four Day Ray in Fishers, because it's where these two love birds had their first date. I love when couples choose locations that are meaningful to the two of them and their relationship. Next, we headed over to Holcomb gardens and we got to use some of my favorite locations. I love shooting along the White River on the pathway there. It's one of the most beautiful spots in Indy in my opinion. We also used the stairs by the bell tower before ending our session on a parking garage rooftop at sunset.
Kelsey and Tony are such a great couple, and I can't wait to photograph their wedding at Vision Loft in March. They decided to get married on their two year dating anniversary. How fun is that?! I love when couples choose a date that is significant to them for their wedding date. I already know that their wedding is going to be so amazing and such a fun day.
Kelsey and Tony, I LOVED getting to photograph your engagement session, and I absolutely cannot wait to get you two in front of my camera again on your wedding day. For now, enjoy these sneak peeks while I finish editing your full engagement session gallery.

The Montage Indianapolis Wedding
Hailey and Nathan’s original wedding day was yet another casualty of Covid. It has certainly been such a difficult year for Covid brides and grooms, but I absolutely love how Hailey and Nathan made the best of their situation and remained joyful throughout their wedding planning process, despite having to reschedule. Their original wedding day was supposed to be in June at the Montage Indianapolis, but they moved their wedding to this past weekend. Luckily, they were still able to have the big wedding that they imagined with only a few changes, like having guests wear masks.
It is so obvious to everyone around Hailey and Nathan and to everyone who witnessed their wedding day, what a great match these two are for each other. They love being around each other, and their happiness is contagious. During Hailey’s maid of honor’s speech, the guests learned about all of the endless ways that Nathan loves to show Hailey how much he loves her. And it’s so clear how much Hailey adores Nathan. I loved getting to photograph their love all day long.
Hailey and Nathan, it was SUCH an honor to be your wedding photographer! I am loving editing your full gallery, and I can’t wait to send you the rest of your wedding photos. Until then, enjoy these sneak peeks! Congratulations again and best wishes for a beautiful marriage!

Bridal Portraits at Iron and Ember
I absolutely loved getting to take MeKayla’s bridal portraits at the Indianapolis Styled Shoots Across America shoot last week. I’ve gotten to photograph MeKayla before, and she is always such an amazing model. Iron and Ember in Carmel was the absolute perfect background for these portraits. We took all of her bridal portraits outside of the venue on the beautiful lawn. This was such a unique set up with a lounge set, a bike with amazing basket florals by Knox Florals, and lots of fun accessories for MeKayla like a big floppy hat.
The vendors for this shoot were absolutely incredible to work with. Heather from Heather Benge Events put together such an amazing styled shoot, just like she always does. The florals by Knox Florals were absolutely amazing. I loved MeKayla’s bridal bouquet. And the rentals added such a unique touch as well! I also loved how Black Swan Beauty did such an amazing job with MeKayla’s hair and makeup. I can’t wait until the next time I get to work with a lot of these amazing vendors. And I can’t wait to be back at Iron and Ember soon!
Enjoy a few of my favorite photos of MeKayla taken at Iron and Ember!

Classic Wedding at Iron and Ember
I was so excited to get to be back at Iron and Ember for another amazing shoot. This is one of my absolute favorite new venues in the Indianapolis area. It’s located in Carmel and has such amazing natural light. It’s a beautiful, white, blank slate that makes the perfect backdrop for a wedding ceremony and reception.
All of the vendors from this styled shoot did such an amazing job. I was so happy to work with so many of my favorite local and national vendor friends that I haven’t gotten to work with in way too long. Heather from Heather Benge Events is THE most amazing wedding planner who always plans the most elegant, elaborate, over the top, and amazing events. She absolutely knocked it out of the park again here in Indy.
Those of you who have been following me for a while know how obsessed I am with florals, Knox florals did SUCH an amazing job with the flowers for this shoot, just like she always does. The table florals, especially were so unique, and I absolutely LOVED getting to photograph them!
Enjoy these sneak peaks from one of my absolute favorite recent shoots!

Covid has changed so many wedding plans for brides and groom this year. Unfortunately, Randall and Ivy's big wedding day was on the list of the casualties caused by the pandemic. But I love that they didn't let any of this get them down, and they really made the best of the whole situation. Likeso many 2020 brides and grooms, they chose to still get married this year on their original wedding date in a small ceremony with their closest friends and family. And they moved their big wedding day to next year when they'll have a reception and get to celebrate their marriage the way they envisioned with all of their friends and family at their wedding.
Randall and Ivy's intimate wedding ceremony was so so special. It was so evident how much love these two have for one another. It was also clear just how loved they are by their friends and family who witnessed their sweet vows to each other. I loved getting to photograph this beautiful day. And how much more special is it that they get to do it all again next year. You can never have too many excuses to celebrate your relationship, in my opinion. So I love that these two get to celebrate their love with friends and family twice.
Ivy and Randall, it was SUCH an honor to get to photograph your wedding day! I can't wait to get the two of you in front of my camera again next year for your big wedding reception! Until then, enjoy these photos from your sweet elopement.
