Omni Severin Wedding Downtown Indianapolis
It was SUCH a joy to have the honor of photographing Cristina and Spencer’s wedding day over Fourth of July weekend. I’ve been looking forward to this sweet couple’s wedding for so long. As I was looking back through their engagement photos the week before their wedding, I realized that we photographed their engagement session over two years ago! Their engagement session was so much fun, so I was dying to get these two in front of my camera again. Plus I couldn’t wait to get to shoot their wedding at the Omni Severin Hotel in Downtown Indianapolis.
Cristina and Spencer were originally supposed to get married a few days before Christmas in 2020, so they planned a beautiful Christmas themed winter wedding. Unfortunately, like so many other couples in 2020, their wedding day had to be pushed back because of the pandemic. But I LOVE that these two decided to stick with their original theme and have a Christmas in July themed wedding.
This entire wedding day was SO joyful and fun. Cristina and Spencer are two of the kindest people I have ever met, and their love for each other and for others is so genuine. The day was full of love and happy tears, and I was so honored to get to celebrate with these love birds and their friends and family.
Cristina and Spencer, it was SUCH an honor to be your wedding photographer! You two are such an amazing couple! I can’t wait to finish editing your full wedding gallery. In the mean time, enjoy these sneak peeks!

Bald Rock South Carolina Couples Photos
I think I can officially say that I’ve found my new favorite location for engagement photos! My couples session with Yessi and Guillermo this morning was absolutely perfect. The way the light hits the mountains in the morning is so stunning. I stumbled across Bald Rock when I was looking for somewhere to go see a pretty Mountain View a few weeks ago and I immediately knew I just HAD to shoot a session there! It has such a beautiful overlook view of the South Carolina mountains. And it’s still so close to Greenville, which makes for an easy drive there. I highly recommend Bald Rock as a location for an engagement session. I think it would even be an amazing location for an elopement or an intimate wedding ceremony as well. I would so love to shoot an adventurous elopement here!
I loved Yessi and Guillermo’s outfit choices as well! Yessi’s long, elegant dress photographed so beautifully against the cloudy sky and the mountain backdrops. And Guillermo dressed in order to complement Yessi’s outfit perfectly. I love when couples dress in elegant, formal outfits for their engagement session. It always photographs so well!
Yes and Guillermo, it was such an honor to get to photograph the two of you! You guys are such an awesome couple, and were so fun to work with! I can’t wait to finish editing your full couples session gallery. In the mean time, enjoy these sneak peek photos here on the blog!
Are you looking for an engagement session photographer, a couples session photographer, or a wedding photographer in North Carolina or South Carolina? I would absolutely LOVE to work with you! Downtown Greenville, South Carolina Engagement Photos
I absolutely LOVED getting to photograph Will and Itzel’s engagement photos yesterday afternoon in downtown Greenville, South Carolina. Everything about this engagement session was so perfect. It was probably one of my favorite couples sessions of all time. Downtown Greenville, SC is such a great spot for photos. I highly recommend it. There are so many beautiful and diverse backdrop options all within a few minutes walking distance of each other. Even with harsh afternoon lighting and the large downtown crowds, we had no problems at all finding beautiful spots for photos.
During this adorable couple’s engagement photo shoot, we managed to hit all of the iconic downtown Greenville locations. Of course, we had to start our session out at Liberty Bridge in Falls Park on the Ready. If you haven’t been to Greenville, this bridge is so cool! It’s located right in the heart of downtown. It’s a beautiful pedestrian bridge that overlooks the Reedy River and the downtown waterfalls and gardens at Falls Park. After taking photos on the bridge, we headed down to the the river to take photos with the stunning waterfalls in the background. Greenville is such a cool city because of the beautiful river and waterfalls that run through it, with the downtown skyline in the background. It’s such a unique mix of nature and city. Lastly, we took some photos by a smaller, secluded waterfall that I really love. It looks like we’re in the middle of the woods in those photos, but we’re still right downtown!
Will and Itzel, you two are such an awesome couple! It was such an honor to get to take engagement photos for you! Enjoy these sneak peeks from your couples session in downtown Greenville while I finish edited your full engagement session gallery!
Sanctuary on Penn Wedding
Cassie and Patrick’s wedding day was absolutely beautiful. It was a bright, sunny summer day in June. And it was such a perfect day for a wedding in downtown Indianapolis. Sanctuary on Penn was such an amazing venue for the wedding. Not only for it’s own unique historic qualities, but also due to its proximity to so many stunning picturesque locations for portrait backdrops in downtown Indianapolis. Some of my favorites within walking distance are the central library, the beautiful fountain and green area, and the War Memorial, where we took most of the portraits on Cassie and Patrick’s wedding day.
One of my favorite things about Cassie and Patrick’s wedding day was just watching these two love each other all day. It was so evident throughout the day that these two are made for each other. The love that they have for each other is so special and rare, and it is so evident to everyone around them.
Cassie and Patrick, it was SUCH an honor to get to be your wedding photographer for BOTH of your weddings as well as your engagement session. I always love having the two of you in front of my camera. I can’t wait to finish editing your full wedding gallery. In the mean time, enjoy these sneak peeks from throughout your wedding day.

Fort Harrison State Park June Engagement Photos
Courtney and Matt’s engagement session at Fort Harrison State Park this past weekend was just so magical! I absolutely loved getting to know these two better. They booked me quite awhile ago for their 2022 wedding, so I’ve been looking forward to their engagement session and their wedding day for so long! I knew these two were such a special couple from the moment they inquired with me. One of the parts of their story that I love the most is that Matt proposed to Courtney with a puppy! It’s a toy Australian Shepard named Poppy. How unique and adorable is that?? I can’t wait to meet Poppy!
Matt and Courtney showed up dressed PERFECTLY for their engagement photos. I absolutely love when my couples dress up. Formal outfits make for amazing photos. And they were still willing to head into the middle of the woods to take photos as well, which was so fun! Courtney’s dress was so fun and flowy that we just had to take lots of fun photos that involved movement. It was the perfect twirling dress. These two were so fun and such great models. Courtney told me before the session that they weren’t good at posing, but they were such naturals in front of the camera! It was so hard to pick just a few favorite photos from this session, because I loved all of the photos so much!
Courtney and Matt, I LOVED getting to shoot your engagement photos, and I can’t wait to get you two in front of my camera again on your wedding day next year. Enjoy these sneak peeks from your engagement session!

Muncie, Indiana Wedding
I knew Josie and Isaac's wedding would be amazing as soon as I read their inquiry in my inbox. Just reading about their love story, I could tell that they were such a special and unique couple. My favorite part of wedding inquiries and getting to know my couples better at the engagement session and on the wedding day, is getting to hear all the fun details of their love story. And Josie and Isaac's story is one of my all time favorites. These two love birds grew up in the same community and at the same church, but they didn't start dating until they were older. Right after they started dating, Isaac left the country for a 1.5 year missions internship, so he and Josie spent half of their dating relationship living in completely different countries. Josie and Isaac got married at the church they both grew up in. Their main concern was having a Christ centered and gospel representing wedding. One of my favorite parts of their wedding day was their sweet, personal vows that they wrote to each other!
Josie and Isaac, it was SUCH an honor to be your wedding photographer! You two are such an amazing couple, and I loved every minute of getting to photograph your wedding day. I can't wait to finish editing your full wedding gallery with all of your wedding photos. Until then, enjoy this first sneak peek with a few of my favorite photos from throughout your beautiful wedding day!

Coxhall Gardens Proposal
Photographing Cedric and Leah getting engaged on Saturday was so special for me since I actually know this couple personally. Cedric and Leah attend the same church as me, and Cedric is in the same small group as me. Ever since Cedric and I met each other after joining the group, I could tell just how in love he was with Leah, who was his girlfriend at the time. Everyone else in the group constantly got to hear about Leah from Cedric, and we started getting to know her better and get to know them as a couple when she started coming to our group hang outs. Everyone is obsessed with this adorable couple, and we were all SO happy and excited when Cedric told us that he had bought a ring and was planning on proposing to Leah. I was even happier when Cedric asked me to be involved by photographing the special moment.
Cedric proposed to Leah at Coxhall Gardens after a wonderful lunch together. It was a perfect day. He picked a beautiful spot on a park bench by the bong under a large willow tree. And I love that they were able to celebrate with all of their friends and family and the people most important to them after the proposal. Cedric did an amazing job of making the day so special for him and Leah. It was such a wonderful day and such a great way to celebrate their relationship and the start of the rest of their lives together.
Cedric and Leah, I am so happy and excited for you both! Congratulations on making the decision to spend the rest of your lives loving each other. I can’t wait to see how your relationship continues to grow over the years. It was such an honor to get to capture this special moment for two amazing people!
Montage Elopement
I loved getting to shoot another beautiful wedding day at the Montage event center in Indianapolis yesterday. I’ve gotten to photograph so many weddings at this beautiful venue now, and I love it every time. The staff is so amazing and helpful, which always makes weddings days run so smoothly. Isaac and Michelle’s intimate elopement on Sunday was so sweet and special. There were only 8 guests and the love that these two share was so evident during the entire event.
Montage has such a cool elopement package that they offer specifically for intimate weddings like this. The package includes the venue for the ceremony and reception, me as the photographer, and it also includes the florist, the officiant, and the food and drinks. Everything you need for the perfect elopement. All you have to do is show up and get married. If you want a stress-free intimate elopement, I highly recommend checking out the Montage’s elopement package
I loved Isaac and Michelle’s wedding so much that I actually finished editing all of the photos from their sweet ceremony the same day and sent all of the photos over to them in their full gallery last night. So although I’m not using this blog post to share the sneak peek photos like I normally do, I hope that you all enjoy seeing a few of my favorite photos from this sweet couple’s wedding day yesterday!
A Huge thank you to Isaac and Michelle’s amazing vendor team for making this intimate elopement so special:

Newfields Engagement Photos During Spring Blooms
If you live in the Indianapolis area, you absolutely have to go see Newfields during their spring blooms. All of the beautiful flowers blooming makes the grounds and gardens even more beautiful than usual. I always love getting to shoot engagement sessions (or any type of sessions for that matter) at Newfields, but it’s definitely extra special during this beautiful time during the spring.
I loved getting to photograph Bhargav and Arthi during their engagement session at Newfields on Friday. These two were the sweetest couple, and I loved having the opportunity to get to know them better. Their love story is so cool! They’ve been long distance ever since they started dating while Arthi finishes Med School in Kentucky and Bhargav lives here in Indianapolis. They knew as soon as they met that they were going to get married, and Bhargav proposed to Arthi just 6 months later. Now they are getting married in just two short months in Arthi’s hometown in Michigan. After being apart for so long, they can’t wait to finally live in the same place after they get married!
I was so excited about this sweet couple’s photos that I couldn’t help but finish editing this full session the same day. I already sent Bhargav and Arthi’s full engagement session gallery over to them to enjoy and share with friends and family. So although this blog post isn’t being used as a sneak peek for the couple like it normally is, I hope that you all enjoy just a few of my absolute favorite photos from this fun engagement session!

South Bend Wedding
I loved getting to travel to South Bend over the past weekend for Jane and Patrick’s beautiful wedding day! This incredible couple along with their family, friends, and bridal party members were some of the sweetest and most kind people I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with. Throughout the entire day, Jane and Patrick and everyone surrounding them were so full of love, joy, and kindness for others. I couldn’t have asked for a better group of people to get to photograph for the day.
Jane and Patrick were married at Christ the King Catholic Church in South Bend. It was a beautiful Catholic mass. For bride and groom and bridal party photos, we used the campus of St. Mary’s College. I had never gotten to photograph portraits here before. It was a perfect location! I always love getting to use new locations and get to be creative in a place I’ve never shot in before. Then, the reception was at Riverside Terrace. It was a stunning venue with a gorgeous view of the river! It was such an amazing wedding day full of so much love and joy!
Jane and Patrick, you two are such an incredible couple! It was such an honor to get to be your wedding photographer! Congratulations again on your marriage! I can’t wait to finish editing your full gallery of photos from your wedding day. Until then, enjoy these first few sneak peeks from your amazing wedding day!

Broad Ripple Engagement Photos
I was obsessed with the locations that Josh and Veronica picked out for their engagement photos last night. Although I’ve taken a lot of photos in downtown broad ripple, on the canal in broad ripple, on the Monon Trail and at the Indianapolis Arts Center off the Monon Trail, I had never been to this specific spot that Josh and Veronica took me to. It’s just off the Monon and has beautiful trails and paths that go along the White River. You can walk for a long time through the woods, through fields of wildflowers, and along the edge of the water. It was so pretty to walk through as I was scouting out the best spots for photos. There was such a diversity of different types of backdrops to use for lots of variety in photos during a session. I can’t wait to use this spot for lots more engagement sessions in the future!
We ended our session at Holiday Park, which I get to photograph engagement sessions at quite frequently! I love this park, but unfortunately it started raining pretty hard right when we got there. These two were troopers to deal with the rain in their nice outfits. I loved a lot of the photos we were able to get in front of the ruins and on the trails at Holiday Park.
Josh and Veronica, you two are such an awesome couple! I loved getting to meet you and getting to know you two a little bit better last night! It was so fun to photograph you! I can’t wait to have you both in front of my camera again in October for your wedding day!! Enjoy these first few sneak peeks from your engagement session last night while I finish editing your full engagement session gallery!
Elegant Balmoral House Wedding
Erin and Natalia’s Wedding Day was one of my favorite weddings I’ve ever gotten to photograph. Everything about this day was perfect. It was such an elegant, intimate wedding full of love. These two have such a special connection, and the love that they have for each other was so evident throughout the whole day. During the speeches and dances, there was not a single dry eye in the room. This stunning couple has so many amazing friends and family to support them in their new marriage.
Erin and Natalia, I LOVED having you two in front of my camera again on your wedding day. You two are such an amazing couple and it was such an honor to get to be your wedding photographer! I can’t wait to finish editing your full wedding gallery! Until then, enjoy these first few sneak peeks from your beautiful wedding day!

Spring Wedding At Valle Vista
I have the best job in the entire world. I get to photograph madly in love couples on the happiest day of their lives. I get to witness so much joy and so much love on every wedding day. And it never ever gets old. But even after photographing so many amazing couples, I could tell there was something extra special about the connection between Brad and Olivia. The love and joy between these two was overflowing, and throughout the entire wedding day, I just kept thinking to myself “wow, these two were truly made for each other!”
Brad and Olivia have the sweetest story. They are high school sweethearts who met when they were just 15 years old. They were long distance for four years while Brad was in the military but nothing could stop these two from staying together. They were finally able to live in the same state again when Olivia moved to North Carolina to be with Brad. And they are so excited to never have to live apart from each other again.
Brad and Olivia, it was such an honor to be your wedding photographer! Enjoy these first few sneak peeks from your wedding day. I can’t wait to finish editing your full gallery!
A HUGE thank you to Olivia and Brad’s amazing vendor team. These incredible wedding vendors made this wedding day one of the smoothest and stress free days I’ve ever had the pleasure of photographing!

Indianapolis Arts Center Engagement Session
We had such a wet and rainy evening last night for Sarah and Andrew’s engagement session. But despite the less than ideal weather yesterday, I loved how laid back and go with the flow these two were. The rain didn’t phase them at all. They’re such an adventurous couple too. They brought their motorcycle to take photos with, which I loved! It was such a unique idea. I love when couples incorporate their personalities and things that they love to do together into their engagement session. It’s always fun getting to get creative with new ideas.
Sarah and Andrew chose the Indianapolis Arts Center in Broad Ripple as the location for their engagement session. I always love getting to shoot here. It’s definitely one of this city’s best hidden gem spots. There’s so many great places to shoot throughout the gardens, along the white river, in the woods, and along the Monon. There’s such a great variety of backdrops in just one location. I would definitely recommend it as an engagement session location. It worked super well for this adorable couple’s outfit choices too! These two were so much fun to work with and pose, and I could tell just how much they loved each other during our session!
Sarah and Brandon, I loved having you two in front of my camera yesterday! You were both such a joy to spend the evening with and get to know a little better! I already can’t wait to photograph you again on your wedding day! Enjoy these sneak peeks while I finish editing your full engagement session gallery!

Shadyside Park Engagement Photos in Anderson, Indiana
It was such a cold and windy day for Josie and Isaac’s engagement photos yesterday, but these two were troopers and handled the less than ideal weather so well. This adorable couple chose Shadyside Park in Anderson, Indiana as the location for their engagement photos. I love when couples choose a location that is special and important to them and to their relationship. It usually gives me a chance to shoot in a “new to me” location, which allows me the opportunity to explore and get even more creative than usual. Even though I know these two were freezing to death while we were taking photos last night, they did such a great job of just focusing on each other, having fun together, and being their natural selves, which allowed me the opportunity to fully capture their love. These two were so fun, and I loved getting to know them a little bit better during our time together yesterday.
Josie and Isaac are getting married at Tabor Church in Muncie, Indiana. It’s a church I’ve had the pleasure of photographing weddings in quite a few times over the years. It was actually the location of the very first wedding I ever photographed, so it certainly has a special place in my heart. I’m always so happy when I have another Tabor couple ask me to be their wedding photographer. I’m so excited to photograph Josie and Isaac’s wedding in May of this year. It’s one of my favorite times of year for weddings with beautiful weather and flowers in bloom.
Josie and Isaac, enjoy these first few sneak peeks from your engagement session! I can’t wait to finish editing your full engagement session gallery! And I’m so looking forward to getting you both in front of my camera again at your beautiful spring wedding!
Vision Loft Wedding in Downtown Indianapolis
I’ve been looking forward to Kelsey and Tony’s VisionLoft wedding in downtown Indianapolis for so long! It’s so fun when I get to photograph weddings for couples I know and I love! Kelsey has been close friends with my sister since high school. And the two of them have been roommates for four years now. Although now Kelsey has a new forever roomie in her new husband, Tony!
Like so many of my couples’ weddings this past year, Kelsey and Tony’s big wedding was another casualty of Covid. They moved their big wedding to July, but I love that they still decided to get married on their original wedding date! They got married in a small ceremony with only their immediate family members and their bridal party present. Although they live steamed their ceremony, and many more family and friends were able to attend via zoom! The zoom call was even projected on the back wall of the venue, and Kelsey and Tony could see all of their family and friends and were able to talk to them after the ceremony, which was so fun!
My favorite part of Kelsey and Tony’s wedding day was their unity ceremony. They did something so unique that I’ve never seen before. They purchased a bible that they want to be their family bible throughout their lives where they will mark down important milestones in their family’s lives. During the ceremony, they each picked out a special verse to share with each other and marked it in the Bible. I love that they will be able to keep this special memory for the rest of their lives and pass it down to their children.
Kelsey and Tony, you two are such an amazing couple, and it was such an honor to get to photograph your wedding ceremony. I can’t wait to photograph you again at your reception in July. I hope you enjoy these first few sneak peek photos from your wedding day while I edit your full gallery!
A huge thank you to Kelsey and Tony’s amazing vendor team! All of these vendors were amazing to work with and made Kelsey and Tony’s wedding day go so smoothly and beautifully!

Indianapolis Maternity Photos
I was so excited when Karin reached out to me to tell me that she’s pregnant! I always get especially excited when my previous engagement session and wedding clients start to have kids. I got to photograph Karin and Daniel’s engagement session way back in 2017. I loved getting to work with this super sweet couple back when they were engaged, so I knew that of course, I would love getting to work with them again this year for their maternity session photos. These two were so sweet and fun to work with, and of course, Karin looked absolutely gorgeous! And of course, she was just glowing! It was so amazing to get to take pregnancy photos for Karin Daniel on such a beautiful morning this morning.
Karin booked the absolutely stunning Laurel Hall for her maternity session. Lauren Hall is one of my favorite wedding venues in the Indianapolis area, so of course, I was super excited to shoot more maternity photos at this gorgeous venue as well. Laurel Hall has so many beautiful spaces for portraits, both indoors and outdoors. I love to use this venue for portrait sessions as well as shooting weddings here. It was so nice to be able to shoot indoors with beautiful natural lighting on such a cold morning. Unfortunately we didn’t get to shoot outdoors because of the cold weather and all of the ice. But we got to use so many of the gorgeous indoor spots around the building.
Karin and Daniel. I hope you enjoy these sneak peaks from your maternity session this morning! I can’t wait to send you the rest of your photos so soon!
Are you looking for a maternity photographer? I would love to work with you! Send me a message over on my contact page to chat about your session!
Fall Wedding at Hidden Hollow Farms
It was the perfect day for Tori and Derrick's wedding today. How often do you get a 70 degree day in November?! I photographed a wedding at this exact same venue at almost the exact same time of year two years ago and it was less than 30 degrees. So these two really lucked out with an amazing fall day to get married on. I LOVED getting to work with this sweet couple today along with their awesome families and their fun bridal party members.
All of Tori and Derrick's interactions today were so so sweet. I love the way they love each other. The way Derrick teared up when Tori was walking down the aisle towards him, the way Tori cried while reading her vows, the way Derrick always kept Tori laughing, and the way these two looked at each other all day long was so amazing to witness. It was so evident just how much these two love each other.
Tori and Derrick, it was SUCH an honor to get to be your wedding photographer! I loved having you two in front of my camera today! I absolutely can't wait to finish editing your full wedding gallery with all of your beautiful wedding images. Until then, enjoy these first few sneak peeks. Halloween Wedding at Bridgeton 1878 House and Barn
Laken and James’s wedding is one that I’ve been looking forward to for so long! I first met Laken at her matron of honor, Amanda’s destination wedding in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico last year. That was such a fun bridal party to work with, and I was thrilled when Laken asked me to photograph her wedding after her and James got engaged! It’s been so fun to work with this same group of friends multiple times now!
These two had such a fun Halloween wedding. The weather was perfect for a late October day and everything was so beautiful! Laken and her bridesmaids got ready at a cute little cabin with a beautiful lake view before we headed over to Bridgeton 1878 house and barn for the first look, portraits, and wedding. I had never been to Bridgeton before, but it’s so adorable! There are so many cute shops, a mill, and even a beautiful waterfall to take photos in front of! I also loved that these two made room in their timeline for sunset photos! We got such a beautiful sunset last night!
Laken and James, it was SUCH an honor to be your wedding photographer! You two are the sweetest and I LOVED getting to work with you and photograph you two again! I can’t wait to finish editing your full wedding gallery! Until then, enjoy these first few sneak peeks!

Traders Point Creamery Wedding
Wow wow wow! Ally and Ben's Traders Point Creamery Wedding on Saturday was such a dream! I loved everything about this day! Ally and Ben are so sweet together! They both teared up so many times throughout the day, like during their first look and while Ally was walking down the aisle toward Ben during their ceremony. It was so evident throughout the entire day just how much love these two have for each other and how perfect they are for one another.
One of my favorite parts of any wedding day is usually the toasts. I get so much insight into the couple's love story from hearing their friends and family talk about their relationship. One thing that really stood out to me based on the toasts was how well Ally and Ben fit into each other's families. It really was such a beautiful blending of two families.
Ally and Ben, it was SUCH an honor to get to be your wedding photographer! Enjoy these sneak peaks while I finish editing your full wedding gallery! I can't wait to send you all of your photos so soon!
