Golden Hour Family Photos in an Open Field in Greenville, SC

I absolutely loved working with this sweet family of five last weekend! I don't use this location often, but it was so beautiful to take these family photos in a tall grass open field at golden hour! As a family photographer, I rarely get to take photos at golden hour. I always work around a family's schedules and kids' nap times. My philosophy is always that happy babies are more important than good lighting BUT that doesn't mean I don't appreciate when I do get to take photos in amazing lighting!

These five were so sweet, and you could really tell how much they loved each other. My goal is always to show off that love through fun and sweet candid photos!

Flower Field Family Photos in Greenville, SC

I absolutely loved this sweet family mini session in the middle of a flower field in Greenville, SC! Rabbit Crest Farms was the the perfect spot to host my last round of spring mini sessions this May! I love all of the beautiful blooming flower fields, the raised beds with wooden benches, the open fields, and the green trees! I can't wait to use this flower farm again for more seasonal mini sessions again in the future!

My May round of spring mini session was mostly repeat clients whose families I've been photographing for years. This sweet family was one of the few families that I had the pleasure of working with for the first time, and it was so much fun! I love getting to know new Greenville, South Carolina families!

Spring Mini Session in a Flower Field in Greenville, South Carolina

My May round of spring mini sessions this year took place is a beautiful flower field! This spring, I rented out Rabbit Crest Farms for my May spring family mini sessions. It was the perfect location with rows of beautiful flowers, flower tunnels, and raised bed gardens with wooded benches. I'm so thankful to have clients who trust me to choose beautiful locations for their photos. This sweet family are regulars of mine. This is the fourth time I've gotten to photograph their sweet family in just the last one and a half years, starting with their maternity photos, then their newborn photos, and now regular family mini photo sessions throughout the year! It's always such an honor to get to continue to document these families year after year!

Flower Farm Mini Session in Greenville, Sc

For my last round of spring family mini sessions this year, I rented out Rabbit Crest Farms for the morning. It was an absolutely beautiful location. There were so many flowers blooming during the first weekend of May. They have lots of fields of flowers to choose from as backdrops, flower tunnels, and raised bed gardens with trellises, benches, and string lights! These mini sessions were in the morning, but I bet the farm is beautiful at sunset as well!

This sweet family of three, soon to be four, was so much fun to photograph! It was so fun to capture maternity photos as well as family photos of them before their little newborn arrives in a few months! We were able to get so many sweet photos of their two year old daughter with mommy's baby bump, which are some of my favorite maternity photos to take!

Spring Mini Session in the Furman Rose Garden

I absolutely loved getting to photograph this sweet spring family mini photo session in the Furman Rose Garden in Greenville, South Carolina! The roses were in full bloom at the beginning of May, and it was the absolute perfect spot for this spring family mini session! I love that the roses stay in full bloom until November, so you can get beautiful floral filled photos during so much of the year!

Chelsea and Cody and their adorable six month old son, Eli also brought along Chelsea's sister, Hope, to their family photo session to document Hope's special relationship with Eli as well as the sisterly bond between Hope and Chelsea. It was so fun and special to capture these fun family photos for them!

I have been loving the recent trend of couples redoing their wedding photos! I've had quite a few married couples contact me lately to say that they weren't happy with their wedding photos, so they hired me for some re do bride and groom portraits that they wish they had gotten on their wedding day. As a former wedding photographer of 7 years, I love having the opportunity to go back to my roots and photograph some wedding portraits for my sweet clients! As a newborn photographer in Greenville, SC, I have been loving all of the lifestyle newborn photos I've gotten to take lately! I especially love when I get to take maternity photos for mamas and then I get to meet and photograph their sweet newborn babies a couple months later! I took Kate's maternity photos during my studio floral mini sessions last month with her toddler, Bruin! Then, this month, I has the honor and privalegde of getting to photograph in home lifestyle newborn photos with her newborn baby, Dallas along with his big brother, Bruin! Greenville Engagement Session Photographer

As a Greenville engagement session photographer, I absolutely loved getting to take engagement photos for Anna Grace and Daniel, who were very recently engaged. This sweet couple isn't a huge fan of getting their photos taken, so they opted for a mini session just to get a few good engagement photos for their save the dates and their wedding website. I was so surprised to hear that they don't like getting their photos taken, because they did amazing and they had so much fun during their engagement session! Afterwards, they told me that the session was painless and stress-free, which I was so happy to hear! I love how many great photos we were able to get of the two of them and their sweet, adorable puppy in just a 15 minute mini session.

As a Greenville, SC family mini session photographer, spring mini sessions are one of my absolute favorite mini sessions of the year. I love the spring blooms for family photos! The Rose Garden at Furman University always makes for a beautiful backdrop, especially for spring family photos.

Travelers Rest, SC Family Photographer

As a Travelers Rest, SC family photographer, the rose garden at Furman University is one of my absolute favorite locations to take family photos! During mid-April, the roses were just starting to bloom and made for such beautiful spring family photos!

It's always such an honor when other photographers hire me to take their own family photos! It's definitely the ultimate compliment! Cassie is another amazing location photographer here in the Greenville area, and I absolutely loved working with her sweet family! They snagged the last time slot during my spring mini sessions last weekend, which allowed for some absolutely beautiful lighting coming through the huge magnolia trees in the rose garden. I loved that they trusted me enough to let me put them right in the middle of all of the rose bushes and hedges. I love the look of them being completely surrounded by nature!

Greenville, South Carolina Senior Photographer

As a Greenville, South Carolina Senior Photographer, downtown Greenville at Falls Park is one of my favorite locations for senior portrait photos. Liberty Bridge along with the waterfalls beneath the bridge really show off the beauty of the city of Greenville. As you're getting ready to head to college or start the next chapter of your life, I love for your senior photos to really show off what your time here in Greenville was like to capture the true essence of your senior year of high school. I also love to use the rest of Fall Park on the Reedy River such as the little hidden waterfall past the open green space, and the pretty blooming florals next to the bridge. I also love to use other spots downtown such as the brick buildings by the Peace Center to give a more industrial vibe.

As a Greenville, South Carolina in home lifestyle newborn photographer, I absolutely LOVE getting to capture the authentic joy and sweet snuggles of the newborn season. It’s even sweeter when I get to photograph a sibling loving on their new baby brother or sister. Being a newborn photographer and being a toddler photographer are two of my absolute favorite part of my job. I love the fun, the chaos, and the spontaneity that toddlers bring to family photos. They are always so full of energy and surprises, and I have lots of tricks up my sleeve to make the session super fun for them including fun games that they’ll love. And toddlers love my family photo sessions because they get lots of love, snuggles, tickles, and they get to play with mom and dad and their siblings! All of a toddler’s favorite things to do!

Family and Maternity Photos in a Studio with Flowers in Greenville, South Carolina

I'm so excited to share with you my own family and maternity photos! My husband, Mark, and our daughter, Lily came to White Wall Studios in Taylors, SC while I was photographing my floral backdrop studio mini sessions last weekend. I loved being able to capture the three of us surrounded by beautiful flowers provided by Lenore Lane. I love the high end and elegant feel that fresh flowers add to any family photos, maternity, photos, or newborn photos, and I wanted to be able to capture my own family with the elegant spring feel of the flowers and the simple white studio space. Studio Maternity Photos in Greenville, South Carolina

I loved having Kate and her son Bruin in the studio during my spring mini sessions with a floral backdrop last Saturday! Kate was 36 weeks pregnant during these photos, and she looks so stunning. I love being a maternity photographer in Greenville, South Carolina. These were especially beautiful with these stunning spring flower arrangements created by Lenore Lane.

Mom, Grandma, and daughter all came along to this sweet family mini session for a fun generational family photo. These sessions took place at White Wall Studio at Taylors, SC here in the Greenville, South Carolina area. This sweet family came from Greer, South Carolina just a few minutes down the road! White Wall Studios provided the perfect setting for these spring mini sessions. I also hired a florist, Lenore Lane, to create a fresh floral backdrop for us. I absolutely LOVE getting to take photos of families or even mommy and me sessions in front of real flower floral arrangements. Fresh florals make such a huge difference to the look and feel of portraits, so I was so excited to bring a florist in for these mini sessions.

Daffodil Field Spring Family Photos in Travelers Rest, South Carolina

This sweet mini family photo session last weekend was absolutely perfect. I love working with big families and I LOVE working with toddlers! Finding the joy in the chaos of parenthood and family life is truly my calling. I love capturing that joy and bottling it up into your family photos so that you can truly soak in the love and cherish each sweet stage of life with your family. These were the first family photos of this sweet family after the arrival of their newborn baby girl just three months ago. It was so sweet to capture the siblings' love for the new little baby sister. The way toddlers react to a new sibling with such love and care is one of my favorite things in the world to get to photograph.

We took these photos in the middle of a beautiful Daffodil field in the spring here in Travelers Rest, South Carolina. This open field by a calm pond was the perfect setting for these spring, flower field family photos.

Studio Newborn Photographer In Greenville, South Carolina

I absolutely LOVED working with this sweet family for their mini studio newborn photo session this past weekend. They really wanted to focus on family photos of their new family of four in order to capture this precious time in the lives of their family. I love capturing those sweet first family photos after the arrival of a new addition, allowing the family to just soak in all the sweet memories and newborn snuggles. My focus is on lifestyle newborn sessions, and I offer both in home and in studio sessions. I love creating natural, authentic moments to truly capture the love and joy that the family has for each other.

In Studio Family Photos with a Floral Backdrop

I absolutely loved getting to take family photos of this sweet family of three on Saturday during my flower backdrop in studio spring mini sessions! This was my first round of mini sessions for the year, and I would so happy to bring in fresh florals by Lenore Lane for an elegant, high end, and beautiful backdrop for family photos. This session took place at White Wall Studios in Greenville, South Carolina. I loved getting to be creative and focus on natural, authentic, and genuine family moments. My goal is always to help facilitate real family memories in order to capture sweet candid images that show off a family's love for each other and their genuine, authentic joy in being together.

In Studio First Birthday Photos in Greenville, South Carolina

I had the absolute pleasure of taking first birthday photos for little Mary Wynn on Saturday! Wynnie was so sweet and fun to photograph! After becoming a mama myself, I realize just how important these milestone sessions are. Babies and toddlers grow and change so quickly, so it's so important to capture their little personalities at every single stage. During this quick, 15 minute session, we were able to capture so much! Mom and Dad brought some balloons for the photos, which were perfect against the white walls of the studio. They opted for a teal, navy, pink, and white color scheme. We were able to get tons of photos of just little Wynnie, lots of family photos, and plenty of photos of just mom and baby and just dad and baby. I loved working with these three!
